  1. My biggest issue with this video is human eyes don't see with a super-wide angle lens effect. This video might be 18mm focal length. Very distorted. The pitcher isn't a tiny figure far away. It's even more impressive in real life. 50mm is more like it so the pitcher, all 6'10" of Randy Johnson is only 53' away by the time he release his 100mph fastball. Crazy.

  2. When I was younger, I was the only kid on the team that could hit a proper fastball. I couldn't crank it because I was a RUNT for my age, but i almost always got a single or double.. And then I realized baseball was boring, and I hate that shit-talking asshole that hits you in the side with a fastball on purpose because his team is up 4 runs already, and now he's just trying to be mean 🤣

  3. I loved playing baseball up until I was about 16, I was a pitcher, catcher and shortstop, then this kid entered our league that could throw what felt like 90mph. It was probably less but few could hit or even react to his pitches. It was such a downer when we'd play them because you knew you were not only going to strike out but it was terrifying to have to stand next to a ball going that fast. That's why I respect how gutsy ball players have to be to stand in there when pitchers throw that hard now.

  4. A 91 mph slider you don’t even see it you just swinging where you think the ball might be by the time your able to judge it and hopefully your mechanics keep you behind the ball and hands slightly adjust…that’s my perception and that’s coming from facing many college level pitchers throwing mid 90s and up I use to catch a guy that threw 93-95 and at the time almost 30 yrs ago that was a high velocity for a freshman pitcher you blink and you might miss it 😂😂😂

  5. 27:35 I don’t think that Tom Cruise was ever actually offered the role; Aditya Chopra just wanted him for it. But there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that it would EVER have happened. Cruise’s salary per film BACK THEN was something like 5-6 times DDLJ’s entire budget, and I doubt he would have taken a gigantic pay cut for some random Bollywood movie being produced by people he may never have heard of (as I recall, really the only Bollywood name we were aware of at all back then was Aishwarya Rai, and even that was a few years later. Maybe if they’d cast her as Simran 😆). And dubbing all your dialogue instead of shooting with sync sound? Yuck. 🤮 I don’t think so.

  6. Some scientists studied the speed of the fastball as it leaves the hand of the pitcher and after adding up the response times of the batter came to the conclusion human perception and reflexes were too slow to hit a fastball.
