This game is dead on arrival, most powerful console ever made can only run first party games at 30fps… hellblade was one of my favorite games of all times and I was planning on buying a series x just to play this game, such a massive letdown.
I didn't expect near photorealism in games yet, but wow.
The first game was a gimmick, there was basically whispers and repetitive combat. This one looks very similar, too much focus on effects, facil expression, etc.., combat looks the same.
Oh man that extra geometry and increased fidelity on textures will COMPLETELY change the entire gaming landscape! This will take our gameplay to the next level, now we can transcend to the NEXT-GEN with this increase in fidelity and geometric detail, gaming will NEVER be the same!!!
If I’m being honest here I really don’t care about hellblade 2 I think the Xbox community needs a game like Helldivers 2 in its archive, screw looking pretty is it going to be fun to play

Hellblade 1 only had audio, visuals, and an unusual story angle going for it. It was barely a game and everything about its gameplay was basic, yet it seems to get a lot of goodwill. Rewind to The Order 1886 and the poor reception it got for being a cinematic visual showcase with a short (but longer than Hellblade) runtime, and decent gameplay. The Order has an intriguing world, cool story, and visuals that are still top tier today but as a series it's been abandoned. What a shame.

LOL! 30fps. Xbox series x and ps 5 both suck! They keep putting systems out , but cant even make 60fps games consistent with this "new gen" crap. I'm still playing old ps 4 games on my ps5. WTF!
30 Fps is totally acceptable for something that looks this good. Crazy how much of an issue this blew up to be especially seeing that there are plenty of other titles running at 30 fps this gen that don't looks nearly as good.
Agree on the softness, but if this is xsx fidelity, major kudo's for ninja theory for showing the actual footage and setting expectations instead of a bumped up version on a RTX4090. I am hyped for the game can't wait to experience this game, Hellblade 1 was an absolute banger of a game.
