  1. This was the most boring movie I ever seen. I kept dosing off, it was so boring! Sci-fi movies are interesting, and keep you on your toes. A wast of good film, budget, and and viewing time ! Watch Rocket-ship XM, Designation Moon, and all the rest of the Science Fiction movies, and compare them with this one, They are all exciting movies!

  2. Not done watching it. Will be doing something else in a minute, but I'll finish it later. I save stuff that I want to watch, until I'm done with them. I keep stuff that I might want to watch again sorted in folders by topic. Anyway, this is a nice movie. The special effects are lousy by today's standards, but decent enough for 1959, when this movie came out. The script is good so far, and the acting is good. I like seeing all of those old familiar faces. The actor sent up on the fact finding inspection was the boss in the Get Smart comedy secret agent TV series. The main character just gave a great speech in front of the committee a couple of minutes before I paused the movie. I'm okay with old, out of date special effects if a program is good in other ways, and this movie is. I really like the characters, too. I will definitely finish watching this later. 😃👍🏆

Update: Just finished watching the movie. It's definitely a good movie for when it was made, and the acting was very good. I never turn up my nose at movies just because they are old, and have out of date special effects. I also like seeing familiar faces. Some of these old movies are implausible, but if they are good in other ways, they can still be good to watch. Thanks for posting this one. By the way, I think that the main scientist was also in the Landru episode of STOS. I've seen him and some of the other cast membets in other stuff, too.

  3. This footage came from or was a George Pal film “Conquest of Space” in color staring Lavern’s dad from Lavern and Shirley. I really like Harry Towns ( Dr Clifford Scott from Outer Limits episode O.B.I.T.). Looks like they actually moved and tilted the set.

  4. Ein "wir zeigen gerne unsere Gesichter" Film.
Ansonsten: ohne das sie den geringsten Wert
aus die physikalische Realität zu nehmen
bräuchten. Aber gut, das war in diesen alten
    Schinken üblicher Gospel …

  5. That was actually pretty well done ! As a boomer, I remember those effects and they, too, were well done by the standards of the times.
The dialogue was a cut above. I never caught this one back in the day. There really were certain movies and TV shows back then that took the audience and the subject matter seriously. The king of those shows was , of course, Forbidden Planet.
