  1. It wasn't just TYT other progressive outlets went "vote Hillay" like you mentioned. Why doesn't HA go after them? I know he has beef with TYT but he should try to be objective, his bias is showing with that article. Also, not everyone at TYT went full blown Hillary.

  2. Jamarl— By TYT helping Hillary and siding with the DNC has a real effect that is HUGE!! And that effect is that if TYT would have pushed Jill Stein the Green Party would have gotten its 5% that is needs for Federal Funding next election and we could have a real 3rd party RIGHT NOW!!!

  3. I agree with HA's points, but agree with your conclusion. She was a horrible candidate with a horrible past, a globalist/corp agenda and elitest attitude. She made me sick with her pandering for votes to various groups playing that fail of identity politics, talking of always carrying hot sauce in her purse. OMG, is that not considered racist as well with the social stereotype? TYT should have encouraged people vote Stein or write in Bernie the states allowing it. The number of disconnected voters would have been obvious. After watching HA speak of Justice Warriors, the political group of TYT, and the money they're taking, as well as connect with Fusion, I think it's safe to say at best, TYT is a bit compromised now at best. You stand for something, or fall for anything. Great video. 🙂

  4. Amen on having integrity. We're known by our deeds and actions, and I agree with you 110% on TYT. The truth is Bernie was cheated, then doesn't stand up for himself nor his supporters that gave millions in money alone, not to mention time they can never get back. then he endorses and tours with her knowing full well she has done everything he proclaims to be against. If TYT were truly progressive, they'd never have encouraged their viewers vote for her. They did the same as Bernie actually, sided with her while proclaiming they despise their actions and what they stand for. The establishment knows full well people simply ping pong rather than truly voting for change unfortunately. Truly sad days.

  5. Yeah, I don't think the establishment would have replaced HRC even if a majority number of the TYT 3 million changed course to Bern or Bust. They have managed to establish an insight or deeper divide though between Progressives and the Vote Blue no matter who. And like Bob says, now we are taking over. Build the biggest voting block the country has ever seen by sticking to core principles. Post election coalition of Progressives and the anti establishment right.

  6. I think people tote the "3 million subscribers" line too carelessly. TYT is a very old channel. I myself have gone through numerous youtube accounts over the years. How many of those 3 million are active listeners? How many are dead accounts or trolls? They certainly aren't getting 3 million views per video. Occasionally they'll have a viral hit but I think people are overestimating the size of their audience, as well as their real world impact.

  7. I think the way HA is slandering Ro Khanna Demonstrates its all about emotion at this point. Have you looked at how well Ro Khanna has engaged HA and everyone else on twitter though

  8. I mean, does TYT really have an audience that strikes people of potential Trump voters, if TYT was pushing Jill Stein Trump would have still won, granted TYT would have looked better.

  9. if the narrative all along, during the primaries, was if bernie doesn't win then Hilary will lose to Donald trump. this is a fact, even by cenk & ha Goodman's predictions. so why further that cause by saying you must vote for Hillary and spend all the time and enery attacking trump? If the other narrative was that bernie would beat Donald trump in the general, then why not back Jill Stein? when her policy platform was exactly the same as bernies policy platform. 22 state's durring the primary, that voted for bernie, and would have gotten more if it wasn't for the rigging, voters would have easily flipped to Jill Stein, making it a strong possibility to beat trump, plus if bernie endorsed her? she would of picked off those rustbelt states, that bernie had in high voting % in the primary. bernie and TYT cheated the progressive platform.

  10. I believe the overall scope of this topic is, (to me) no matter the agreement/disagreement on this, we can all come together as sensible, sane people and discuss our opinions/grievances without name calling or bashing..So regardless, Jamarl I will still support you, as WELL as H.A…and to be clear, I saw points in what you both stated, and In ways agree with you both-keep up the great work!! #TRUEPROGRESSIVES

  11. To your last point: TYT being against Hillary might not have changed the behavior of the DNC, but it may have changed the behavior of the voters (particularly those who weren't already in line). Bernie voters who saw TYT come forward on their side may have eventually decided to go along with the ultimatum of Clinton rather than stay home or vote third party. The added integrity might have gained TYT more subscribers, so that in the end they could have pleaded their Clinton case to more people from a position of logic rather than fear. Food for thought, excellent video yet again – would love to see you on NoSellOuts!

  12. Good, independent analysis. Before the election, I remember watching Thom Hartmann rudely insult a caller who was supporting Stein–something he normally would never have done. The manic fear of Trump caused Hartmann to actually lose some of his integrity. Trump Derangement Syndrome is very real. It turns intelligent people on the left into frightened, hostile fools engaged in selective memory and Russia hysteria.

  13. I think that them standing strong and going for Jill Stein would have not kept Trump out of office, as those votes would have drawn from Hilary making a Trump presidency even more possible. On the other hand, that happened anyway, and anything anyone can do to help overthrow the duopoly, is a good thing. They should have went Jill Stein to help the third party cause. They didn't. That's why I unsubscribed from them.

  14. This spitting contest is just splitting the progressives apart. What everyone seems to be forgetting is that IF TYT were turncoats, SO WAS BERNIE SANDERS. He jumped behind her FIRST. I don't think HE did and I don't think THEY did. They all were opposed to DJT and opposed to whom he might put on the SCOTUS, but Garland wasn't much better (everyone seems to forget). Jimmy Dore did NOT vote HRC (but maybe all the rest did). That Jordan went off on ANY progressive was WRONG. H.A. has NO PROOF, however, that Cenk put him up to it, and until he does he needs to back WAY off repeating that.

  15. I was just explaining this on my show. It did help a little because they towed the party line and encourage others to do also.We have a small disagreement.I believed if they would of been harder on the cheating of Sanders and exposing DNC fraud and calling HRC out it would of had a huge impact but they towed the party line instead. They Should Of Called her out but they didnt…. Well Bernie should of also. But in the words of Biden…. they all fell in line.

  16. I think your analysis is right but I also think you are putting too much wieght into what H.A. is saying, as it's more about attacking TYT at this point than making any real point or trying to move things forward. There is a big audiance for TYT hate out their, from Steven Crowder through to Dave Rubin

  17. So, I think Cenk was attempting all along to have some kind of personal influence in DC, but that's a different sort of discussion.

As far as helping Trump, I place no blame on them, but there are other details to consider. It has been widely and falsely reported that Bernie had said from the beginning that he would support whomever became the Democratic nominee. The truth is that he was asked that question several times in the early stages of the campaign and always replied that he would do whatever it took to ensure a Republican didn't make it into office. Then came the TYT interview. Cenk asked the question and Bernie responded in the same way he had before; then Cenk pressed him on it saying something to the effect of "so that's a yes, you'll support Hillary?". I haven't re-watched the interview lately and my recollection may be colored by later events, but I seem to remember some hesitation on Bernie's part before he agreed that he would support Clinton. Personally, I was slightly deflated when he said that, partly because I wanted him to keep a third party option open and partly because it felt like everyone had been trying to get him to admit defeat before the race even began. After the interview, TYT threw a bone to Dr. Jill but otherwise ignored her, backed Bernie loudly, and tore into Hillary at every opportunity. Then came the NY primary. I noticed a certain cooling of the support for Bernie a few days beforehand- it was subtle and I couldn't pin it down then or now, but it was there. The night of the primary, before all the results were in, Cenk simply declared it was over for Bernie. Others at TYT continued to say he still had a chance but the wind was gone from their sails. Did that have a major effect on the rest of the contest? I do not know, but I do believe TYT's influence extends well beyond their actual subscribers. I also believe that had they given more time to the Green Party and encouraged Bernie to take Jill Stein's offer, he may have given the idea much more consideration.

That said, it's a stretch to place much of the blame on TYT. I hope H.A. gets it out of his system this week. And I really want to see Tim Black get back to doing his usual. Would be nice to see Jordan cowboy up and do a vid publicly admitting he was in the wrong on all counts, but I seriously doubt that's going to happen.

I'm very happy that you got that bump, Jamarl, and hope it's lasting, but please stay true to yourself and try not to get caught up in public emotion. We love you for who and what you are and more people shall see it too.

  18. Yes, TYT 'helped' get Trump elected..and I would go so far to say that they are still working to 'help' get Trump elected in 2020 albeit they are not aware that this is what they are doing. They are still complicit with the Deep State …

Now, I will say, they were not the sole reason he was elected, but their acts of treason against the American People served as a catalyst to 'help' put Trump into the presidency. When they turned-coat and joined the Deep State they became complicit with treason and that energized the forces against them. Those forces are more energized today than they were in 2016. So, the next show-down should be especially revealing.

Hillary Clinton lost, because of her own words and actions, the words and actions of Bernie Sanders, the words and actions of the Corporate Media, the words and actions of TYT. the DNC (and by association the Deep State); Comey, Wikileaks, Bernie or Bust, Jill Stein & Gary Johnston's teams, and of course the Right in all their machinations etc … Together all of us helped get Donald Trump elected. . But obviously for a variety of reasons.

Personally I was working hard to make sure Hillary (ie. the Deep State) lost.. I voted for Jill Stein to help Jill reach 15%, but I also voted for her to make sure Hillary lost… so… I'd say…. Yes TYT 'helped' get Trump elected.. The writing is on the wall.

  19. msm helped elect trump by giving him the most $ coverage, under the instruction of the dnc & the hrc campaign, so if tyt also focused on trump, like their loser donald videos,( which i didn't watch, it could have influenced people to vote for trump cuz they weren't ever going to vote for hrc, they could have had people watching who were pro sanders, but conservative, so the immediate switch to hrc might have compelled people to go vote for trump & spread this by word of mouth, cuz i think that was a point made by micheal moore, trump was the big fu to our government, i voted for Jill hoping to get her to 5%, but i think even greens gave up on that to make sure trump would win over hrc, unless the corruption was so great, & that we will not ever know

  20. I don't agree with HA Goodman that TYT helped get Trump elected.  I believe anyone who didn't support Bernie Sanders during the Dem Primary and Dem Convention helped get Trump elected.  After Hillary Clinton was nominated it was all Hillary's fault that Trump got elected.  If Jill Stein was even close as a 3rd party candidate, then I would blame TYT and anyone who supported Hillary for getting Trump elected.  I voted for Jill Stein in hopes that she would get enough votes to get federal funding for 2020 and also as a protest to Hillary, DNC and MSM corruption.

  21. The real question here, IMO, is "Does TYT bear some amount of responsibility for the outcome of the election" 1) *Did TYT "Support HC"*: Yes; there is no debate here, as far as I'm concerned. 2) *Does this support in an of itself mean they "helped to elect Trump"?*: I agree that they added their voice to a chorus of nonsense, half-truths, insinuations etc. that helped to elect Trump. They obfuscated issues and concerns regarding HC. They ignored HC's unethical activities. Therefore, they bear some amount of responsibility for this outcome. 3) TYT's "resonance" does not extend much outside certain online communities. Essentially, I agree that, by itself, TYT does not have enough influence to have had a significant effect on the election. There are real power players involved here, powers that make major media outlets seem like supplicants. TYT is an ant in this process. However, again the real question is a matter of responsibility, not degree of influence. Example: Citizen X might not be dumping nuclear waste in his backyard, but he does throw full trash bags out on the highway occasionally: Is he responsible for pollution? 4) I agree that HA gets a pass for being somewhat hyperbolic when it comes to TYT, at least for while; he was attacked, & good on him for taking advantage of it to gain influence. However, after a grace period, he needs to stick to well-supported arguments.
