This doesn't work and it rots all the fkn time with no chance to succeed at all. I actually don't know how do people do it. I do the same thing, put small water or half of the cup, or just touch the the bottom of ginger to water from a short ended glass, or just a little tiny water every day to prevent rot, sprey water and do everything, but with water, everything just fails and rots. No amount of water change can change the result, it rots anyways, little water or half of cup doesnt matter. It can only be grown in soil with some sand in it my experience.
