  1. 2:14 I found a fix for the stuttering camera btw. After a year of tinkering I found out that using rtss rivatuner to framelimit to EXACTLY my monitors refresh rate ie 59.973 it completely fixed the stuttering camera movement. Also was using nvcp vsyn on and off in the games settings

  2. I played this game on an i5 8th gen, gtx 1050 ti smoothly at medium 1080p. The games so well optimised. And no stutters too, with the help of some nexus mods that boost performance for Nvidia 10 series gpus (forgot the mod name, but it showed that the mod optimised the game for the 10 series architecture gpus). Pair that with the asynch mod and some tweaks. The only game that could run so well that I could even play 1440p with low settings on my tv.

  3. the Textures, Shadows, & LoD were no joke in this game especially when u wander around Kushi, so much bamboo trees in there and it kills my FPS. PS4 was gifted to host this game

  4. I am having a just terrible time with this on my 5090/9800X3D. It starts off great in 4K at 120+fps without DLSS, and within an hour my CPU/GPU utilisation drops down to 50%, frame rate drops to 80fps and latency rises to 45ms which is just awful. Thermals are great and RAM has 16GB to spare.

  5. Late to the party, but I've narrowed the problem with grass flickering (not the DoF jitter though, sadly) down to Dynamic Resolution Scaling.
Setting DLSS to a static quality instead (Quality / Balanced / Performance / …) eliminates the jitters for me.
The game is so optimized that you barely need DRS, so this is a minor problem, IMO.

  6. I dont think this guy played more then 2 hrs, for me when I hit this mark the game start stuttering which would suggest memory leak issue. He says no stutters I call lazy review, which is understandable as these guys have to test many games so he only prob played for an 1hr and did not experince the memory leak that make performance bad after a while.

  7. idk I play on both pc and ps5 and still prefer my ps5 for this game. I only purchased it on pc to support the game and dev because this game is a masterpiece. I have a 3080 in my pc and ryzen 9 but yeah this game just is better on my ps5 something about just playing it on console on my comfy couch without fucking with settings is nice. the pc is not that much of a noticeable update.

  8. I love the way Nixxes do settings menus. Between the old school launcher and the expansive, dynamic settings their ports are just wonderfully tweakable. I really wish more studios would give us as many levers to toggle.

  9. The only thing that is weird about this game, is how sparks in the air light up when you move the camera. NOT when you move your character though, only when you manually move the camera around.

  10. Excellent work as usual Alex

I must say though TAA has way more detail and looks astonishingly better than DlAA
    Especially in 4k

Love the mention of the pcie express slot

I run an RTX 4,090 paired with the i9 14900 KS 8,200 megahertz ddr5 Ram

My point I am using the WD black sn850x
    Hard drive
And something I have noticed about this game

The hard drive has some sort of software that possesses something called game mode

Anyways I find well having game mode on

Every time I encounter an MPC or an enemy in the distance
I got a small microscopic almost frame Spike a mild stutter
With the game mode turned off I no longer get the stutter that I speak of

Which I find haunted  also would like to mention that
The HDR in this game is also blackly haunted or when you go inside a house you can't even see the walls it's black

By using tone mapping set to on on my LG c1 TV I've been able to mitigate the problem
I rotated the camera and I could not find any noticeable judder like in your video

  11. This dude said "Generally computant" port. 😅🤣😂 C'mon dawg. This game was tight and a huge configuration + performance success on release day. Nixxes is that deal and a true diamond in the rough.

  12. I got a problem with a bug, which says that my RX 6750 XT is overheating and suddenly closes the game 🤡 … I looked for a solution in fóruns, and many other ppl are having the same issue… but I rather wait till SP fix it with future patches …

  13. I just moved to Pop_OS! and was wondering if you'd consider running a single benchmark with one GPU, just whatever Steam Hardware has as the most common GPU, on pop os and use it with the date tested when graphs are shown? That way you don't have to update benchmarks to any meaningful degree but you keep the option of gaming on Linux in people's heads as Microsoft gets ever worse, now threatening to take a screenshot every 30 seconds.
