BABYMETAL FOREVER
Some reactors get quite animated, vocally excited and emotional. You seem like a more laid back guy BUT in my eyes your body language showed that your senses were working overtime. Once you pronounced the song to be epic I knew you were well and truly hooked 😂. A different kind of reaction from most and I really enjoyed the journey.

Metal Kingdom is both the show opener for the live concerts, and the first track of the album, so its serves as a mood setter for everything that follows. I was lucky enough to be at the performance where the video was shot and it was absolutely breathtaking to see them perform it live.

I totally agree, simple things put in the proper way can be really amazing. And this is the new album and show opener theme and it's specially tailored to set the base line of the rest of the album (and the live show). With BABYMETAL context is everything. I also love the song by itself as a declared addict to Su-metal singing voice. And that final verse is pure gold.
The most interesting facts regarding Babymetal is they were an accident!! Key Kobayashi aka Kobametal wanted to try merging Jpop with Metal. He was a huge fan of X Japan and Luna Sea. He found Suzuka Nanamoto in the Jpop trio Karen's Girls which was due to disband. He got her in Sakura Gakuin with Yui Mizuno and Moa Kikuchi for "Dance and Scream" (their words). There was no thoughts at the "Heavy Metal Club" would last longer than the girls time at Sukura Gakuin. In the beginning they got no support from Asume and for their first video they scrambled to have matching costumes and the support dancers were taught the dancing by Yui and Moa who were 11 yo. Babymetal WORKED beyond anything they could have imagined.
Just an idea with 3 girls who are hugely talented with an unmatched charisma. Been of "The One" since 2017. Now we are ready for a new era of Babymetal with 2 talented beautiful women!!!

This video is from a live concert that took place last month. Although not shown in the video, all the usual band members were playing heavily.
This song was played at the beginning of the gig. We all sang it loudly 😁It was so much fun. Of course the other songs were great too.
SU and MOA will welcome another member at the live in Yokohama on April 1 and 2. After that, they are scheduled to tour Europe and England with SABATON from the end of April.

This video is from Makuhari shows on Jan.28 /29. I witnessed both shows at the venue. You saw one octagonal movable / elevatable stage but actually there were two identical stages for more surprising production. Several drones with camera were flying around all over the venue.
Once this opening song by Su and Moa got started, I had goosebumps all over my body. The show was held after the almost 2-year long hiatus after all. Seriously many of audience were moved to tears and/or dropped their jaws when the gigantic fox wall opened and the thrones came out. Yeah! I chanted all through the song. ♪ Oh oh oh o o o ♪. What a happy experience!! The Kami band was playing on the east stage that was not captured in this video.
After this grave opening, 3 girls performed 12 songs with Momoko Avenger. Did you see 3 (not 2) thrones at 02:46 in your video? Yeah, BM will change. The official 3rd girl is going to be unveiled in the next shows in Yokohama on April 1/2. Yes, at last ✌ So you will see the new trio in your country in May.
Great reaction. 'Metal Kingdom' is the opening track on the album – so of course they used it for the epic theatrical opening number at their concerts two weeks ago – their first live shows in nearly 2 years.
This was the live performance but with the studio audio – the video was released less than a week after the concerts they filmed it at, so it is understandable why it has the studio audio.
We will have to wait for the DVD for the live audio.
The way the stage was set up – there was an east stage where the Kami Band were and a west stage where Su started here sitting on her throne (there were 3 thrones). Joining the east and west stages was that huge walkway with the audience either side … two front rows and both of them really long – so many people could benefit … and on that was the moving stage which travelled along the walkway and also rose up and down.
I understand Su, Moa and Momoko spent most of their time on the moving stage.

This is why BabyMetal have no match among any other Japanese artists, top notch worldwide. Many others are finding Game Of Thrones resemblance on this stage setup, it looks insane. The ten prophets are holding crosiers with "The Other One" logo which is similar to the infinite symbol OO and is the title of upcoming 4th album. The girls are carrying some kind of trident similar to the Spear Of Destiny, if you know MoaMetal you know you got be careful with her. 🔱

It is a powerful anthem ushering in the beginning of a new era while also representing the power and courage to step forward into uncharted territory. The track conveys imagery of one rising powerfully from the throne of silence, with a suitable fanfare announcing this new beginning.
At the end of January at Makuhari Messe they held two great live shows returning to the stage after almost two years. and by far they meet up my expectations with this epic live performance and top notch production.
SuMetal and MoaMetal showing why they're a queen and princess deserving their thrones. The cinematic drone shots are just insane.
We were expecting this live proshot version but we'll have to wait next month for live sound.
We got so many big news and announcements, a new official member is coming (most likely Momoko Okazaki, the one who has been performing with them all these years and latest live concerts) next live shows in April 1 (Fox Day) when returning once again with another headlining shows at PIA ARENA MM Yokohama. Also they performed with a new BM mirror unit coming from another world of this metalverse, so we're guessing maybe some of the older kawaii metal songs they don't play anymore will be back with this new unit, so stay tuned for more but like always OTFGK.
There was some minor issues when SuMetal was singing this live a little bit off, apparently an IEM issue or something but is all good coz we all know it's been a while since performing live and is the premiere of this song, pretty sure next live shows will be better.
