They made out the location was one of the remotest. You would imagine it would take weeks to sail to such a place. Na..a few minutes 😂. The sub can also dive 500 meters in around 30 seconds 😂

Well, other than not knowing that there are no Generals in the Coast Guard, and knowing nothing of the physics of tsunamis, or the descent speed of submersibles, it wasn't a bad movie. But that's typical of the Sy-Fi channel: All Fi and very little Sci.
Eric Roberts plays his usual alpha male wannabe, and the illustrious Margot Wood? The only reason I can see for her appearance in this turkey is she must have lost a bet. Either that or she was hired to give the rest of the cast acting lessons. When I described her as illustrious, Google her name to see why.

Great good movie! “Kaiju” is a gigantic marine starfish that flatten any military battleship(s) and one navy submarine in deep dark ocean with each tentacle in big, splash in big mess! Only the naval admiral really got mad at the scientific- oceanography teams in his grants! That drove him CRAZY!!
First thoughts on this: I'm 15 years older than Eric Roberts. He looks twenty-five years older than I! I suspect that is because he has lived in Hollywood, and I have lived in Portland, Maine.

I’m impressed with this B movie! Not many B films pass the minimum scratch test for having good-great: acting/cgi/storyline! This tale has survived dismal expectations, especially with wanting to see how many future projects can come from this success! Bravo and congratulations to all involved! Even the success of Godzilla came from a B rating beginning, and by the way, it’s time America has a few Kaiju to enter the monster island ring!
