  1. Never really got into this
I guess some classics need to be left alone
    However…
For me to get into a remake of any classic, it has to be mind blowing but unfortunately I just found this remake very bland

  2. Coming from never having seen the original but instantly recognising who Elenas predecessor was got me hooked. She's perfect, and i actually really like Ruby too, im sure i know her, was she on The Bold for a little while? I didnt realise the original show was actually fantasy island so i think I'd love it, especially with Khan. And im positive that dog isnt what he seems lol.

  3. Okay, um… What in the actual world is this? This isn’t even Fantasy Island or any way related to that original show in any way possible… This is just a completely different normal show set on some random Island… This is nothing like the original… You must of never saw the original to think this is actually good… Remakes are never good…

-No Mr. Rouke and Tatoo (I know the actors unfortunately passed but at least they could of used impersonators to play the parts or one of their actual relatives if they wanted to go the route of the whole “relatives of the originals on the island” instead of some random celebrity that doesn’t even look related to Mr. Roukes character… And honestly I really hope they have someone as Tatoo’s relatives or at least mentioned, it feels odd to have someone related to Mr. Rouke without anyone related to Tatoo, I understand it probably had to do with with Herve and everything offscreen hense why that character was never mentioned in anything outside the original show, but honestly having a nod to that character would be nice again honestly… (Either that or the Karen’s would have a problem with the character itself hense why he’s never mentioned… Ugh… )

-The “Fantasy” being COMPLETELY taken out and a bunch of unnecessary drama

-EVERYTHING is modern for some reason

    -New characters nobody cares about

This is just no. Why do they always try to remake these things? Leave it alone….. They better not touch Lavern and Shirley, Kotter, and Gilligan next… I have a very bad feeling they will though, they destroyed this, so I’m not surprised…

    This isn’t Fantasy Island… 😣

How do you guys like this?
Do you guys here even know the OG show and how these terrible remakes never live up to them?

This is in the garbage pile with the 1998 movie and new horror remake, that new Pink Ladies Grease show, New Saved By The Bell, Velma, and so many other classics they keep destroying in remakes, if it has nothing to do with the original show or characters don’t bother at all… A coconut falling off a palm tree would of been a better series than this pile of dry ugly shriveled seaweed washed up on the sand from the middle of the ocean… (Also add the rocks and shells and pebbles in there too, ), but my point is this is anything BUT Fantasy Island… They could of done something like this when Herve and Mr. Route’s actors were still around but no, as usual they waited until they passed just to make this trash…

  4. It is very prolific of the original series which I respect and enjoy about it. Well done job in maintaining the idea of Fantasy Island for both the ones whom remember the old and can enjoy the new.

  5. The first one wasn't a "magical island", it was the magic that Ricardo Montalban created, along with the great line up of popular personalities as guests. Years later when asked about it, he played the role because he thought it was in essence, Pregatory. He was an angel with a little too much pride, with his side kick cherub, giving people their last wish before they went off to paradise. It's an interesting take, religious or not. I'm not btw, nor am I Catholic, but when I think back with this insight, it all falls into place and makes sense. I can't see this working, certainly not with the same success if they don't filter it through that same prism and format 🤷🏼‍♀️ 😁✌️🇭🇲

  6. Nuova serie ORRENDA…adatto solo alle lesbiche…senza offesa intendo è il target che hanno scelto….Per il resto delle persone è inguardabile‼‼‼
    🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤢🤮

  7. It was refreshing for once to feel enlighten by the wispy breeze of a story only explained by your heart, where one could almost smell the slat water in the breeze of the shows ambience. The first two episodes were well thought and constructed, meaningful stories, quite believable feel and character profoundness, as were the last two episodes. The characters never wandered in 8 episodes and were always solid, but I felt like the writing tapered into less and less creativity after a great start, and went from a fresh island twist to the standard story line in short order. More creative writing to match the first episodes, there are a plethora of ways the series could go. Sanchez played the role perfectly, IMO. Never once unbelievable. I would give the first two and last two episodes a 7, however the middle 4 episodes are rated correctly by IMDb, but only because of writing.
