Mr Roarke and Tatoo both have many rough edges in this TV pilot. However the classical Spanish charisma and star presence of Ricardo Montalbán is already evident. (I know the late great actor was born in Mexico but both his parents were from Spain) Thank you for uploading this video.

I watched this show as a young child, so now seeing it as an adult, I am surprised at how sinister and snippy Mr. Rourke is! He’s not very friendly to his guests & comes across as kind of creepy!😮

This show started quite dark. My memories of it was people didn't get what they wanted, they got what they needed and I think it was supernatural in places. I don't like the remake, I just don't think it captures the original concept.
