Fallout – It’s A Blast

I didn’t have high hopes for this one, but I must admit, Amazon surprised me with Fallout – a pretty decent adaptation of the best …

  1. I like the little animated bonus videos, they really nail the humor of the games. But I don’t like the lore changes, well, all in all I’m pretty happy with it especially since we’re not used to quality content these days. Walton is amazing by the way

  2. If he is unfamiliar with the game all of the not so subtle references, all be it some of them are just mechanics of the world and those were integrated nicely as to not make new audiences have to ask too many questions, invoke implications of the world given the most minor details were elaborated on in the games. That the game developers are hand-in-hand with the writing of the show, the small little references actually have over arcing possibilities. It’s very med to the games themselves. in the elements being touched on in the show are very censored to the core of the mythos and in some ways we haven’t seen yet. Like the ghoul is potentially one of 10 of the oldest characters in the franchise that we personally see. But one with outstanding significance in relation to the overall circumstance of the world’s state. This is truly a fallout show in terms that is truly about the core events of fallout as a world in itself.
I remember theorizing with my brother how they would manage to flush out fallout in this way, and they literally cast both speculated. That we would get a fresh vault dweller, a pre-war ghoul, a member of a faction, most likely the brotherhood of steel, and somewhere along the line there would be dog meat, who was the only one to my surprise, is from the enclave. So a member of every fraction, who essentially all are the main characters, which was perfect for pushing the scope of what fallout is as a story.
One of my hopes for next season is that we see Arthur Maxon because we know the Pridwin is present. He was one of the few characters to now being three iterations of the fallout story. The third game, fourth game, and the TV show. Who is also one of the few characters to interact with two of the main protagonist of separate game titles. There is a lot we can hear from him. That would be great for fans of the games into expand on a brief knowledge of the world for new viewers regarding the state of all of the US and maybe even further.

  3. I really like ya man but this review is just bullshit it adapts bethesdas fallout but puts it in the west and fucks over everythin it can the worst part is this shite is canon which means only one thing bethesda broke all the games they did not make all the best parts of fallout ruined for money ego and the messege yes there it still is the commie propaganda

  4. Vey true. Man you are my mind. Are you a mind reader or what?. I exactly thought that they are going to destroy the franchise with another feminist OP heroine. But thank god they didnt.

  5. I wouldn't call the Fallout franchise "Family Friendly" but god damn there's no way I can sit down and watch this with any kids around. Juxtapose that with the video game series that I can freely play within view of just about any age range.

  6. Even if the show didn't disregard or rewrite the lore of the setting, it's just kind of bad. Having power armor be useless crap that only exists to make the ghoul look cool for destroying is stupid. It's like watching the incompetence of the storm troopers be played up to meta levels in the mandalorian. At what point do we just get it over with and have clown circus music play when faceless bad guys enter the scene. Why would I feel anything at all when the protaganists are "in danger" if I know the retard ghoul is just going to shit out some stupid cowboy talk and then blam them with his revolver with no issue?

  7. 6:35 actually, it would have taken the world only about a few decades to go back to normal
Fallout has a very problematic timescale issue with a lot of the world building, no concrete structure would be standing after 200 years, no maintenance no upkeep, acid rain and all sorts of things would have returned to nature by then

  8. Id never played fallout….not my type of game. A definite non gamer told me itwas good. The odd thing iss i wasnt going to watch it becuase game to tv shows or movies usually turn out crap! I decided to watch as id never played fallout and….as a person whos never played the game i think its a great show that stands on its own 2 feet.
