Excellent film. Peak Michael Douglas. Hard to believe that Batman Forever came soon after this one.

Falling Down is my second fav. movie right after Aliens. This review is spot on. Couldn't have said it better myself.

What we don’t teach ourselves properly is that life is a scary journey and winning and failure is not always in your control, but your attitude and willingness to take on the adventure is.

Used to be the land of "milk & honey" now its all about shallow conspicuous consumption where to even begin to wanna think about having a family of your own you have to meet a never ending list of requirements some mid looking bimbo whos honestly worth no ones time that youll never begin to meet because of how everything is now so i and probably many others have come to the realization that family isnt gonna be in the cards for us late millenials im by no means saying men are perfect but the women of today seem like theyre mass produced in a factory somewhere pieced together from scrap parts a leg here an arm there the unempathetic nature the cold calculation of the materialistic hypergamous way of being is honestly repulsive to most not to mention the fact that they're intolerant insufferable shits… i say all this to say America and the west are in trouble unless some drastic corrections are made and fast
One of my favorite parts of this movie is when he buys the snow globe from the chinese guy…who quotes him a fair price so he just buys it and goes on, proving he's neither racist nor is his anger just unfocused rage. All he wants is to be treated fairly and when he is, he's all good.
