We teamed up with some amazing people this week to transform a backyard for a mother and her four kids. Their space had become overwhelming, but together we were able to give them a fresh start. This was one of our best transformations yet—and along the way, we surprised the family with a few extras to make it even more special.
You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and in the end, you’ll see why this work is about so much more than cutting grass. It’s about restoring hope, dignity, and pride for families who deserve it.

My uncle who passed away a few years ago had a huge drill-like post hole digger that took just a few minutes each hole. Also, please wear masks when using concrete/cement; the dust can be deadly.

Wow! What a jungle! If I didn't know better, it looked like my FIL had been there! My Hubby agreed when he saw that huge concrete backyard. His dad liked to make huge concrete creations on every property he owned!
Maybe the family can eventually, place Astro Turf on some of the concrete. To make a softer place to play and look like a yard.

What a tremendous job you did. That backyard looks so much nicer and opened. If it were me I would have had to pressure washed that concrete off making it shine cleaner. That’s my OCD in me though. 🤣
