Even a single killing based on race or ethnicity is genocide. Just because a few dictators did it on a massive scale, it doesn't mean the root meaning of the word has changed. This is yet another reason not to "trust the experts" like the left preaches, because those "experts" they choose to endorse are biased or factually inaccurate in order to push an agenda. Killing white farmers because you can't tolerate that white people hold land and economic stake in your country is a genocidal doctrine that will only lead to famine and ruin. Even without the killings, the large number of anti-white policies that have been passed to persecute the white landowners and business owners should have been enough to qualify for asylum.
I'd rather have these farmers here than the Venezuelans who put a dictator into power and fled once things took a turn for the worse instead of attempting to fix their own mess, who also decided they were too good to seek proper asylum in their neighbor countries and instead came to ours to act like a bunch of vagabonds. Give these farmers a chance to contribute to the country and they may just earn their citizenship here.

The major manipulation being used by the left here is how the statistics are being presented. When presenting occurance rates with percentages usually statistics are displayed on a per capita, but here the number being represented is an national average which will always be displaced due to uninvolved populations being included in the numbers. When you look at the numbers on per capita it tells an entirely different story. This is a common manipulation used by mainstream media on both sides even with crime stats here in the US, and quite frankly is horrible and dishonest.
