  1. c'est une connerie la voiture électrique ! une petite voiture qui consomme 3 litres au 100 ça existe ! ça s'appelait une citroen ancien modèle sans air bag et tout ça !

  2. I think the problem is that Elon Musk does not understand how poor the average American is. He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and will probably never comprehend the need for Americans to run their own lives without depending on a transportation system out of their control. Most Americans just want a car they can rely on and OPERATE themselves rather than a taxi or local transportation system. Americans like FREEDOM. They want to control their own lives without someone telling them how to live, which is what Elon would be doing if his electric self-driving taxi were foisted upon them.

  3. Flawed logic. If they had robitaxi, they would make all vehicles robotaxis and immediately stop selling all verhicles (3, Y, S, X) to customers. Not everyone wants a small robotaxi. Families need more room, luggage, people going shopping with lots of bags. There is also a limit to how many robotaxis that are needed. Sure they could be good in crowded cities, but in rural areas people still need vehicles. Andy many who can now afford regualr taxis still own cars since they like the control of driving. If a robotax is say half the price of a regualr taxi, amybe it would double the number of taxis on the road, There are aroundf 250,000 taxi drivers in the USA. After they make say 1 million robotaxis one would expect demand to drop, especially if they run "20 hours a day". Tesla makes a lot more cars than that each year, and why would they toss away all those profits? Teslas stated goal is " accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy through increasingly affordable electric vehicles in addition to renewable energy generation and storage." That means lots of solar, cars and energy storage.

  4. 6:23 $120.00 shoes sometimes cost $120.00 because of the “name” on the side and or the celebrity associated with the shoe…. Your argument is extremely flawed and casts significant doubt over any point you are trying to make..

  5. You really need to be hired by Tesla's marketing department if they ever create one lol. I used to think Tesla had a stranglehold but with NVIDIA chips competing on the AI front and supplying them to car manufacturers and other companies competing on robo taxis we'll see what Tesla can do.

  6. I can't understand how so many miss the story. Robotaxi is a service like Uber and Lyft, except without a driver. It depends on level 5 FSD. If that rolls out on 8/8 then perhaps 1 out of 5 currently owned Teslas will serve part time on the Robotaxi network. It is assumed that a Robotaxi will do about 5X the driving of an average private vehicle. At 12,000 miles a year that is an average of 33 miles a day. 5X is 165 miles a day or around 6 hours of daily use. If one drives his vehicle to a 9-5 daily job there are about 7 hours their Tesla could do Robotaxi during work hours. With 5,000,000 Teslas on the road that means roughly 1 million could be part time Robotaxis for the full 6 hour daily period just during normal business hours.

A Robotaxi has an array of expenses. Charging, cleaning, maintenance, insurance, etc. If an owner puts his car out for use that owner bears all of those expenses. Tesla gets a cut for scheduling and fare management for those private Robotaxis. That cut could be 30-50% of the fare.

Now let's consider the "Model 2" as some call it. If Tesla sells it they immediately recover the investment in building it plus a profit. If the owner puts it out as a Robotaxi Tesla immediately gets profit while avoiding much of the expense. If they put it into their own Robotaxi fleet they bear the cost of building the vehicle and do not get immediate profit. With $0.30 a mile net profit and 60,000 miles a year of use it would take 1.5 years for Tesla to break even on the cost of building a Model 2 and the lost profit of the sale. Meanwhile they also lost $27,000 of profit from a private owner using his vehicle as a Robotaxi.

The bottom line: until sale saturation of the Model 2 it is more profitable for Tesla to sell the car than to build it only as their own fleet.

  7. Tesla can’t announce the $25K car until they have enough batteries and production ready. Once it is announced, model 3 sales are Osborne. Model 2 will cannibalize m3 sales.

  8. You say a used Corolla is safe and mature. I sit in one and can feel the body pan flex. If you peel the fender back, you're likely to find a Lite Beer logo. If you take a corner too hard, the hubcap flies off because the wheels flex. If you get hit in one by anything larger than an NFL linebacker, we'll come to your funeral and say nice things. Unsure? No, "uninformed."

  9. You've grounded your presentation on erroneous assumptions. The majority of customers for new 25k Teslas do have access to charging. And second, this is the Reddit internet TT time. Info on reliability and the ability to say no to gas and fight against an illegal cartel will sweep through all social levels.

  10. Elon will find out there is going to be a whole lot of people not happy with his plans for Robotaxi. What you have said in this video makes a lot of sense but Elon snatching away a $25,000 vehicle that people could have bought and driven. Well its not just not going to make people happy. He kind of misled people. People don't like that.

  11. Interesting and I can see Elon making that choice, however that doesn’t negate the need for a $25k Tesla. A perfect 3rd vehicle to commute and leave my truck at home to be used when needed for the larger jobs. I don’t foresee robo taxis coming to my neighborhood for me to be able to rely on it as a service. However the $25k Tesla isn’t for the typical $25k car shopper. I would expect a Prius as a better option for them.
