  1. The no 1 biomarker for how well you will age is natural hormone production. When hormones decline health and wellness declines. Sarcopenia arrives loss of bone density and reduced activity levels along with cognitive decline poor moods and increased stress. This is why all biohackers are on TRT to attempt to compensate for this deficit. I went from 334 to 960 in around three months all natural no TRT. This book should be essential reading for all men. Written by a 50s guy with natural T levels higher than most 20s guys
Complete guide to testosterone by james Francis

  2. It's difficult to find anyone who HASN'T been in a vehicle accident at some time in their lives. Luckily most don't get seriously injured. But there is always that possibility of an accident causing a life-altering situation. So, that is a significant life risk.

  3. Car accidents avoidance to live longer ? Are you kidding me ? why don't we better AVOID DOCTORS since they are THE THIRD OFFICIAL CAUSE OF MORTALITY IN THE USA after CVD and Cancer ? On 2016 the study was explaining this because, negligences, bad practices, human errors and bad diagnostics and treatments ( of course since you do not learn how to cure, just to solve symptomes and following lies since Ancel Keys for more than 50 years ). On 2025, the American Society of PharmacovigilanceI study "shift" this third official cause ( keeping it on that place ) only to "adverse effects of drugs" trying in some way to get the doctors out of the equation, but who prescribed those drugs ? I already orderer your book Attia, but the longer I see your videos, the closer I am up to burn it without even opening it. You are not even closer to the sort of longevity expert many claim. Obsessed about Apo B and not about inflammation levels ?. Anyway, if you write a book about longevity when you are at least over 100 years old, then it makes sense to me.

  4. I don't agree with this guy on the high protein thing I'm a registered nurse of 38 years a super high protein diet it might make your muscles a little better but it can really damage your kidneys be careful with that also be careful with NSAIDs they affect your kidneys also my teachers versus heat sensibly get enough sleep keep her stress low be situationally where but all this is already mapped out before we even end up dying because it's already appointed by a Yahweh.

  5. Dr. Peter Attia is a great example of pharmacies and doctors in America. He's so moneyhungry, mongeygrubbing that besides his practise and other avenues he literally has a paywall in his Youtube to give out information.

CRAZY how moneyhungry doctors can get.

  6. At age 76 and 200 pounds, I do not know how I can eat 200 grams of protein. 7 ounces of protein, This equates to 12 standard hamburger patties. Or 18 ounce steak. Same with Potassium at 4700 m-grams daily.

  7. I think it’s sad the carnivores and vegans are so busy disagreeing with each other and we’ve lost site of the bigger concern which is ultraprocessed foods and sugars. But I think vegans are worse as they are obsessed with prosecuting against meat. The paleo crowd is more focused on ultraprocessed goods.

  8. 1. Sleep: Regular times. In dark. No screens. Don't sleep full.
    2. Exercise: cardio plus strength. Min 8 hours per week in total.
    3. Good diet with sufficient protein.
    4. Avoid serious accidents.
    5. Emotional health.

  9. The issue I have with no phone in bedroom… I’d love to do that but I’m a single woman in a city and yes, I’ve had to call police twice. So while I’d love no phone… it’s a safety issue. And frankly. Hate that men don’t talk about that…

  10. Really liked the talk, would like to make a short video and post it on my social media if that is ok with you. I really liked the part where you guys taked importance of cardio along with strength training, regarding the strength training, people can do all sorts of strength training like body weight, functional etc

  11. When I was 17 I was almost t-boned at an intersection by a truck going at least 55mph through the red. A slight glance to my right as I started through and I saw him in my peripheral vision. I hit the brakes and he missed me by inches. Saved my life.

  12. What works for you doesn't work for other, I literally eat as I'm about to go to sleep because I personally cannot see if I'm hungry. Most people say that's terrible but guess what, it works for me. But you tell people to go to bed hungry, I think that's weird, they don't need to eat late in bed like I do but, you should not go to bed hungry

  13. Attia's recommendation on protein is not in line with Christopher Gardner's position. I'm a little confused. Does this mean that the science on protein daily intake is not settled?

  14. 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight. Is that lean bodyweight or do they take fat into account. If a high proportion of your bodyweight is fat, why do you need protein to maintain that? Its typical wishy washy advice.

  15. Anyone else just “confused” over all the approaches and guidance? Over the years – cholesterol was just “bad”, then certain kinds were bad. Then carbs were fine, then certain carbs, then avoid fats, now fats arenn’t necessarily bad. Now the guidance on protein intake is low( RDA for me is about 25% of what my doctor and others now are telling me to get). The old adage of eat right and exercise is still there, but the approaches have gone all over the place with a few constants( I.e. junk food is junk food, moderation). I know science is evolutionary from a discovery process but I am more confused than ever. At what point do I start really listening?

  16. How does Dr. Attia ignore the China Study which the New York Times described as "…the Grand Prix of epidemiology?" The subsequent studies with mice surprisingly confirmed that depending on the amount of animal protein in the diet will turn on or off cancer progression.

  17. Not eating animal protein for some is an ethical decision. I'm having "discussions" on this issue and I'm surprised at the rationale – let's face it many farms raising animal are seriously abusive (you'd be arrested for treating your dog that way: cramped quarters, standing in your excrement, never being able to stand up etc.), then there's the pet connection i.e. the animals can be affectionate toward you so it makes it less humane to eat them, also if you are able to be just as healthy eating a plant why kills something that has an element of inherent glory or wonder about it. There's also what's good for the planet supposedly – maintaining bio diversity rather than plains for livestock is seen as better for the planets temperature, lower carbon, there is the risk of over grazing etc…
