Well, I'm in Australia and I will never ever watch or listen to the main stream media who are still spewing fake information, instead I dig the real news on the net where I know now, after these past 4 or 5 years, who are giving me the truth.
Isssues like this, where the average person has to rely on “experts” often feel the choice is Binary. Neither Russia or Ukraine.
My choice? Neither. Mcgregor is spewing a lot of rhetoric. So is zelensky and his ilk. In this world it’s often a choice between lies. The problem I have is that if Ukraine wants to be free, they should be allowed.
Conversely if people want to stay with Russia they should be allowed. Border should be respected and Russia launched an invasion.
The NATO talk seems like an overreach. I don’t believe in abandoning Europe BUT they need to change.
The word of an American president should largely be respected. Divergent views should be handled with respect. There are a lot of dead. Emotions are high.
There are real human in Ukraine that need to be respected regardless of their leader.
The U.S. needs to keep a good reputation. Iraq, Afghanistan and other entanglements have dented that. We are strong but we need friends.
The Russians haven’t looked like a competent force regardless. Over time they will get better but fact is fact

Citizenship. My wife came over from Finland. She had a tough time getting in for any longer than a visitor. So, she told them we were engaged, which we were not yet. We got engaged and married and she applied for citizenship. She studied for it. The judge ensured that she could speak English, had a good knowledge of our constitution, and would not be a threat or burden to the country. This was fifty years ago. Now our borders and their open-door policy IMHO will be our demise if serious drastic measures are not executed NOW.
Hopefully this will end with NATO being dissolved, and that Europe break free from USA
