I'm 73 and I recently went to urgent care because it seemed like my new blood pressure medication wasn't working…..they took my b/p and did a basic ekg….I paid $175…AND, this was the amount permitted by Medicare ..now, I know someone who has NYS low income health insurance who pays $50 every time he goes to urgent care…the only person who pays more than seniors are people with no insurance at all….they suggested I go to the ED because they were not allowed to prescribe .medication… that cost me another $300…..so there's so much corruption that the people losing are the senior American citizens…we are the bottom of the barrel…
