  1. They were done so wrong in the scoreing for this performance. I mean like I.N ended up crying after the performance because he couldn't hit an extremely high note at the end and in my opinion him going lower on that line made it feel more emotional but he was so scared that he ruined the entire performance and the score that they got after just proved him right. They did not deserve to get scored so low. Like i swear the judges walked out of the room when they started. They were done so dirty.

  2. If you ever wanted to see what was going on with the cameras for this and them transitioning/running around for the next shot, you can look up the “full stage” version too. I thought all of the moving parts were very cool, that you can’t see in the actual performance video.

  3. The showrunners had to make it fair for the other artists so they scored stray kids low on a couple episodes because the stays had them in first every round of the voting.

  4. I loved this performance so much but it's hard to enjoy because how hurt I.N was by this. He was amazing and i agree the emotion was really in keeping with the theme. Also I didn't appreciate how much Mnet showed his pain it felt exploitative.

  5. Thank you for reacting this. Fun fact: all (if not most of them) Stray Kids full version videos (clean versions) from Kingdom were deleted, not sure why, so this was the original performance video with other groups reacting to it.

  6. Skz gave a full on cinematic storytelling about yearning and sacrifice only for the judges to sidestepped the plot because they just want "conceptual performances". There's been a mess of things in their criteria for performance because this show has 2 generations of different performance style, u see the older gen adjust to how younger gens do it coz they tend to fall off the judges' charts. Like istg, SKZ was theatrical and if it wasnt for the highlights of group performances, collab stages, and changing how they direct God's D4 to be less story-like and more explosive…i dont even wanna say 😅

I mean, having a criteria is fair since it IS a competition, i just hated the stress of loving it so much but also knowing it's not what the judges want to see 🫠 (kinda like how i feel bad for the older gen knowing that it catered for the new gen's fans 🥲) kingdom dished out the best collabs tho, and thats on the artists haha

  7. I just realised this recently so I need to announce this, when binnie is rapping amazingly at the end he's actually doing two peoples raps in one breath THERE SO GOOD ITS CRAZY

  8. 9:17 this!!!!
Im Arab and the arabian style of music is toyally different than the western style of. The western style depends on high notes, straight forward rythms and it's very strict they have so many rules like there's no room for improvisation in it. The arabian style on the other hand depends on runs, riffs, power, emotion, crazy vocal control and unlike the western style improvisation we also use a different scale than the west. One of the techniques used to add emotion thats taught in arabic maqam (maqam is the arabic style of music) is intentional voice cracks especially when you're conveying something sad and heartbreaking it requires a lot of vocal control and precision. When i first watched this stage i thought I.N had done this on purpose and was like wow when i later found out that wasn't the case and that the judges had placed them last i was devested because it truly sounded like it was intentional. But kpop follows the western style (which is weird considering that the traditional korean style is so different and if anything its closer to the arabic style). It kind of shows you how little the judges actually know about music like if they bought singers such as Eunkwang (btob), Mingyu and woorim (forestella) Kim Hyun Soo (forte di quattro) or actual vical coaches i think the outcome would be totally different.

  9. Fun fact: Seungmin and Han’s performance was supposed to be performed by 4 people and changbins verse was supposed to be performed by 2 people.
