  4. I take anti-seizure and another medications that cause really bad brain fog. Really bad. I started taking creatine for exercise purposes, but it has lifted the brain fog tremendously. Like from I can't do this mental task, to no problem doing it.
    So if you are having medication caused brain fog, try taking creatine for a few months and see what happens.
    Don't bother with loading phase. It will just upset your stomach. Also, if you get no muscular benefit from creatine, don't assume the brain effects are also negative.
    Also, don't forget to tell your Dr that it raises creatinine (not creatine) levels. They measure creatinine for other medical reasons, so you may or may not need to stop for a short time and see if it's just the creatine. If it's just the creatine, then no problem.
