  1. This dumb journalist. Your not helping anyone. Stupid guy was getting on my nerves🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬POS wasn't helping anyone or caring for what was actually happening. They should charge him with tampering for not listening to lawful commands

  2. The so-called journalist livestreamed the whole thing—who’s to say the shooter wasn’t watching? He ignored his friend’s call, who later died, and told others to call him instead. Even a buzz could’ve gotten him killed. All for internet clout.

  3. Who cares that you are journalist bro no one cares first of second of all you got friends there or who ever bro your not helping at all man let police do there work

  4. I will say that I'm glad that it has been covered here that what the "journalist" did was unacceptable, but I also just want to ask why his footage was used? As a teacher in the US, it is a very real fear that I have that someone like this could get between my students (or my colleagues and myself) and assistance in times of crisis. While he did, in fact, have the quickest and most thorough coverage, it was obtained in an unethical way and I feel unethical consuming it as a viewer because it has given him exactly what he wanted – – attention and credit. If footage like this is used in the future, I would love to see it be an explicitly educational "what not to do" tool. Just my two cents as a chronic Midwest Safety watcher. Thank you!

  5. “I’m a journalist” pfff. Give me a break, you have YouTube channel. Actually, his footage from hiding behind a car in the parking lot wasn’t helpful & was the only annoying part of the video.
“Don’t worry guys. I’m not going anywhere…they’re going to have to rip me out of here if they want me to leave”. What a selfish person. The cops shouldn’t have to waste any attention on you simply because you want likes. What a POS.

  6. Why do we continue to put blame on the companies that manufactured the gun, the gun itself, and the establishment that sold the gun. Its the fool behind the trigger.

  7. Great job Dean. You got the award for the absolute worst friend possible. Instead of being genuinely concerned about your friends' safety you cared only about getting views for your channel and livestreaming

  8. I remember this day so vividly. I was working and just before this happened I was at work and called my mom. She lives in boulder and said she was heading to King Soopers and then I saw this happened shortly after getting off the phone with her. Fortunately my mom wasn’t at that King Soopers but I remember everything about it. I remember driving by after it had happened and they had it all barricaded.
All I have to say is Boulder PD needs better training because watching this shows extreme sloppiness. When they all went in behind the shield was horrible and then they spot him and instead of pointing the guns at him, they point at him with their fingers.
So many things they could’ve done better.
RIP to those who lost their lives in this.
