We publish police videos. The good. And the … not so good. The public deserves the right to see the good and the bad. #Transparency.
FYI: A ton of work went into getting this video 🙂
"furtive movements" is probably the guy trying to find his information lol. Cops are idiots sometimes.
These cops are f- troop
You FUCKED THIS KID OVER. PERIOD. EXCLAMATION POINT. ThEY know it, too. 30 yr Officer TX
These officers Do Not appear properly trained. Kid was scared and Did Not
Need to be tazed. F grade for stop, and did not need to be tazed.
Wow so they just drove off with him? No reading of his rights? My question is why? All he did was turn down a one way
He prob wasn’t broke after this happenef
I'm not surprised you have a desecrated American flag behind you.
Kurt Cobain 2.0 sucks as much as 1.0.
What is this a training day?Nobody has a clue. What the hell they're doing
It's not difficult to follow commands.
The police may have come on strong, but orders are orders – full compliance is what is required in these situations. Don't make it worse for yourself by panicking or bringing your ego into it.
The suspect had more than ample opportunities to surrender, regardless if the taser was deployed too soon.
After the dust settled, cooler heads prevailed and he was cut loose. The fact that a lawsuit is part of this is literal insanity to me.
Were is the police commissioner, disgraceful act against a human..😢
This is why I try my best to stay out of cities and towns with bored cops!
According to the law in that state they would only do a Felony Stop for more than just a hunch; they need specific, articulable facts that would lead a reasonable person to believe a felony is involved. Also: "The suspected crime must be a felony, not a misdemeanor or traffic violation" in the first place
I'm pretty sure our boi Ian is gonna win because turning down a wrong way street and trying to find your insurance aren't felonies. Also the 'obstruction' charge for trying to listen to 3 officers while at gun point was ALREADY dismissed…
This cop needs to find a different Job what a coward
As an attorney, I know these cops all of them will be fired immediately, and they will lose everything, and this young man will be awarded
Do we have to train logic now? You see a guy reaching towards the passenger side of the car after being pulled over and your first thought isn't he's collecting his documents?
THEY CALL COPS LIKE THIS HEROS,I CALL CHICKENSHIT
This is American not Nazi Germany!
Everyone in the video is stupid.
The police chief supporting what they did is the exact reason so many people hate cops.
I can't watch no more
This is f**** ridiculous man it's a traffic stop do you make medical attention for real you can see he's not okay Peter Pan games are supposed to be professional trained police officers really
Absolutely braindead road pirates. Tazed a guy while he's working because he was looking for his insurance after you pulled him over FOR A TAGLIGHT??? What the fuck?
Tazed a man with hid hands up and back turned, and then took 45 min to decide the goofiest way possible to approach a vehicle with no one in it.
Taser should only be used if the officers are in danger. Kid had his hands above his head, and was clearly confused by the whole situation. Definitely a over use of force
mistakes were made. happens
Cops should stay in bed for their own safety.
he has to thank the cop for not arresting him for no reason at all …
They literally shot an innocent man that was following orders. Policing in the USA can certainly be dangerously for the citizen.
You were not within your rights to arrest him. He had done nothing wrong and was clearly terrified, which can make comprehending and following orders difficult, meaning it's not reasonable to claim he was resisting.
If someone needs the bathroom, it's cruel and unusual punishment to keep them cuffed and force them to either hold it or potentially have an accident.
Most everything there was not justified. In fact, a majority of your and your coworkers' actions were excessive and illegal.
They literally arrested him for not kneeling down on demand to cover their multiple illegal uses of force.
Tazing someone who isn't physically resisting against an officer and isn't posing a threat of harm is blatantly illegal. It's excessive force, an 8th amendment right violation, and felony deprivation of rights under the color of law. Same with pointing a firearm at someone who isn't posing a threat.
