My mother had 7 children, with my brother on the spectrum. I guarantee you mom's life was much harder than this girls life raising a special needs child. Decades ago, there was no services or special agencies available to help parents. Meanwhile this monster mother did have available support. She had no excuse.There is zero excuse for killing another innocent human being, never mind your own child.
Police officer sure has a potty mouth. You’re supposed to show professionalism by refraining from cursing. You never know who’s listening or watching. You are supposed to be a role model and an authority figure. You cheapen yourself and your profession by representing yourself like that.

Maybe there is but parents should have the option to place kids with autism and/or severe behavioral problems in facilities. It Takes a certain type of person to be able to deal with that 24/7 without going insane yourself.
Frankly I don't think she went to the area for hiking with her son, she probably already planned murdering her son in that area knowing full well it will be hard for police to find his body. She's basically homeless and the thought of her hiking instead of looking for job or house to live in logical. She planned the whole thing for her son to die in that hiking place. I just can't imagine the horrible realization of her son that her mom is killing her. She's should have gotten the death penalty.

No, nobody saw the body and thought it was an animal. 😑 He never said that he thought it was a snake. The guy literally said that she called out, "naked body," and they both misheard it as "snake," because that word would be something they'd expect to hear. They thought that the woman was shouting that she saw a snake.
