COOL LIFT… OR… TOO HOT TO HANDLE..

If you enjoy my videos, tips are greatly appreciated: https://www.paypal.me/RotatorRon

Hello Ladies & Gentlemen and as always, thank you for watching! Today, was one of the hottest days on record and we really needed to “chill out”. Customer needed an industrial chiller, basically a large, portable air conditioner, moved. This hospital just had their AC repaired. Another hospital in Illinois had their AC quit in the middle of a heat wave and needed this chiller ASAP!!! I bring our flagship Peterbilt 389X with a Miller Industries Century 1150R rotator, heavy towing and recovery unit to lift and load this “BIG CHILL” machine. Oscar brings in our Peterbilt 579 and our TrailEze TE801 trailer to haul the unit to the needy hospital. Will we make it on time? Can we take the heat?? Or, do we just need to sit back and Chill Out, Man???

Thanks to all who have prayed, sent well wishes or good thoughts.

Thank you, God, for blessing our family and our business. Watch as we continue to receive God’s blessings. There is much more to come!!! I hope you enjoy this video!!!

My common analogy, “there are many ways to reach 10”. I could have approached this (any) job several different ways. The approach method is important, but more important is achieving the desired result, safely.

Again, a very special thank you to all my viewers, family, and friends who having taken the time to show their support. May God bless and protect you all!!!

  4. Hi Ron, found your channel about two months ago and really enjoyed the diversity of the jobs Midwest Truck gets involved with. Yes, I hit the subscribe button. I also found a lot of your older videos, as well as a few of your Q&A video's which helped answer a lot of questions. Look forward to more quality video's coming in the future. Hope you and Mrs. Pratt are having a good weekend.

  5. Hello Mr. Pratt. I have watched your channel for at least three years maybe more. I enjoy your content very much. On this video I have a question. I am NOT a rigger nor a tow truck driver and I never have been.
When I was a kid (I am 74 new) I worked loading 18 wheelers with pallets of roofing. I had one trucker ask me why I loaded EXACTELY down the middle of the trailer. Which made his load balanced right to left. He wanted me (now remember this is just what some truck driver told me at least 55 years ago) he wanted a LITTLE more weight on the DRIVERS side. WHY, I asked. He said since the roads are all curved with the passengers side down he wanted a LITTLE more weight to the DRIVERS side so he would not have to fight the steering wheel back to the left.
Is this ANYTHING you have ever heard or do this this driver was right.
I have NEVER driven an 18 wheeler on the road so I have no idea. I have loaded hundreds of them when I was a kid.

  6. nice lift and smooth job. wish you shows us the trip to the hospital.. lol we also want to let you know a lot of your new videos you have done lately have not been closed captioned. we are deaf and the captioning helps a lot. thanks for your great videos. godspeed. 😀
