  1. Not many people can afford $16.50 Weekend tickets. All it takes is to reduce pricing which have been increasing so much yearly. Stop Greed, accept market demand and update reasonable pricing. Making a little lesser is better than making nothing and thus bankrupt. Weekdays $6 Weekend $10 is a very reasonable pricing which surely would attractive more customers!!

  2. Ironically it's not pirated cd or dvd that's kills cinema is legal social media like netflix that's kills , remember last time when watch movie always have advertising not to buy pirated cd dvd now they can't do much

  3. Its because holywood movies nowdays are thrash and too woke. Should take more movies from asians country like china/japan/korean/thailand/indo horror movies their movies are usually more interesting. and lower the ticket prices. I am not paying 10sgd for watching 1 movie that i dont really feel like watching it. Also people prefer to watch streaming now. For my case i have netflix, iqiyi, wetv, youku and youtube premium 😅😅 not even have time to browse them all.

  4. It's generally just a bad business to be in. There have been no movies worth watching in cinema that won't be streaming in a few weeks. Nothing much produced in the last decade has been 'must-see' on an IMAX screen.

  5. Surely all these cinemas will become part of history
    High rental
    And changing landscape
In singapore such venues cost a bomb to rent with high utilities
And low viewers due to cheap or free online streaming
Best option is to sell all assets or rent them out and change business model all together
