  2. These scenes remind me of playing “spaceship” with my brothers in the basement, where I lined up chairs, drew TV screens on the back of them, and would shut out the lights to simulate space. I tried to emulate the look of these shows. Great memory.

  3. I think 26 thousand billion miles is about 4.4 light years so Proxima Centurai would certainly be near.

    I'd love to know what rocket fuel they were using

  4. I am shocked by how not-dumb this is, not just by space opera standards but by 1950's sci fi standards. 12 minutes in and they haven't even made up any words
