  1. Thank goodness the “expert” has a toy plane. Wouldn’t have known what that looked like otherwise.

“It wasn’t like the plane dropped 10,000 feet…believe me if that happened you’d have a lot more dead bodies”. Is this guy for real? No shit Sherlock

  2. I couldn't imagine Ford or BMW getting blamed and sued for everything that happens to and around one of there vehicles.
But for some reasons Bowing catches all the blame for everything.
Take the door falling off. Bowing had nothing to do with it. The airline machines were told the door light was flashing. Both the Airline and the FAA certified it was fixed.
How exactly is that a Bowing problem?

  3. Nothing comes before safety except corporate greed. Airline executives want more money for themselves and their shareholders.
Airline maintenance is cut back to the bare minimum; contracted overseas to the cheapest contractor to save money.

  4. I love aviation and am especially interested in MH370 case and I'm so glad this aviation expert Richard Quest actually spoke sense. He didn't fear monger, just talked about the realities of quality control and flying 🙂

  5. Gazan 🇵🇸 to IDF 🇮🇱: 'We must take down the heads of Hamas. Don't leave this place! People are stupid and do not understand anything. What are we to do with all of this? This is all because of Sinwar and Haniyeh. Haniyeh eats at restaurants in Turkey. And Sinwar eats hidden underground. They eat meat while we eat bullets.'

Why doesn't every university of every country & doesn't every channel argue this way? No ceasefire & no protest since obviously all of Israel and Gaza want to take down Hamas! I think accepting the pro-Palestine claim 'most Palestinians hate Hamas' further supports the war and that Israeli PR is shooting itself in the foot by insisting 'most Palestinians support Hamas.' The above Gazan was even from an Israeli channel. Then again they could be saying 'most support Hamas, but there are indeed many who hate Hamas.' Idk. It seems like an unnecessary statistics debate.

If I side w/ 🇷🇺🇨🇳🇵🇸🇵🇰🇳🇴🇮🇷🇮🇶🇰🇵 (axis of evil aka dictatorships) but choose to live in 🇺🇦🇹🇼🇮🇱🇮🇳🇺🇲🇬🇧🇯🇵🇦🇺 (allies of evil aka democracies), then am I a hypocrite like Norman Finkelstein, Miko Peled, Abby Martin (x Mike Prysner?), Omar Baddar, Marc Lamont Hill (and maybe Andrew Tate, Mohammed Hijab, Cenk Uygur), et al since they side with axis but live in allies? In general I believe Jewish American or Israeli anti-Zionists who live in the US or Israel or any 1st world democracy are hypocrites.

Note: Mosab Yousef, Mustafa Barghouti, Magnus Carlsen & Rahma Zein side where they live. They are not (necessarily) hypocrites.

Why are there so many pro-Palestine living in democracy countries 🇺🇦🇹🇼🇮🇱🇮🇳🇺🇲🇬🇧🇯🇵🇦🇺 but so few pro-Israel living in dictatorship countries 🇷🇺🇨🇳🇵🇸🇵🇰🇳🇴🇮🇷🇮🇶🇰🇵?

  6. I never knew how clueless Pier's was until this post
The plane did not dive 6000 feet as claimed in his opening comments
Boeing do not make engines so all engine faults are manufacture and maint issues
Passengers getting smashed about in weather conditions are ZERO Boeing matters
That's like blaming Ford Motor Co for a storm causing a death in a flash flood, 100% rediculous.

  7. Sure, as much as possible, keep the seatbelts on, even while eating or sleeping. However, if you have to go to the lavatory, you have to go, provided the seatbelt sign is off. Of course, while you're walking to and from the lavatory, and the plane suddenly drops, there really is no way to save you, except for airlines to sharpen their forecasts of turbulence. I just have one (consider it weird) question: Can Boeing or other plane manufacturers think of/consider putting seatbelts on toilet bowls? So at least you can be saved while you're seated doing your thing, and the plane drops.

  8. If every airline flight could be as smooth sailing as this interview, I wouldn't need a drink or a pill to ease my nerves. Great chemistry between these two – and fyi it seems Austria is working on a new wing device that might be able to detect turbulence in advance, and reduce it by as much as 80%. Maybe that's a hopeful new innovation.

  9. As I Briti again I have to express my opinion on Piers. He's an absolute moron and a gaslighter. What the heck does turbulence have to do with Boeing? It's like blaming England for Piers Morgan. What an absolute duchebag!

  10. This turbulence and injuries and death of a passenger has nothing to do with Boeing or its aircraft. Singapore Airlines have some of the world's best trained pilots and best maintained aircraft in the world. The reason they are number 1. American and European airlines are no match for the quality of service and flying experience. Your commentators are not qualified to make comments and are far from the facts and truth.

  11. Wow! Richard Quest. One 0f the world’s very best. So engaging, so forthcoming, so brilliant in his presentation, analysis and analogies. My generation is blessed to have him.

Larry King & Richard Quest….the very best the journalism industry (and CNN) ever produced.

Thanks for bringing him on air, Piers.
