I'm really not sure this is what it is about, but my interpretation is that all life started in the ocean but over time time humans evolved from the humble origins to have incredible power but not the responsibility to not destroy it all.

Thank goodness, my father has shown me Dio and Black Sabbath when I was younger. Sadly he's not with us anymore… a few days ago, he passed away "in the misty morning". Just like Dio himself, he'll be greatly missed.
