What’s comical is that Kendrick and all the lemmings who are raving about the performance conveniently ignore the obvious. His message was about the social ills of Black society who all too often are brought upon themselves. He tried to target (white) society as a whole yet leaves out the part about his own father not being there to raise him, even as he took advantage of social programs implemented by the white man. Finally, if he wanted to make a real impact he could’ve addressed real solutions that the Black community can apply like absent fathers, rampant drug use and criminal tendencies.

I didn't like it more because it wasn't my type of music. I haven't really ever liked Kendrick Lamar as a performer. I don't like country music either. If a country music star plays the Superbowl next year I will equally not like it. This whole racial narrative keeps us back more than anything. It's getting so silly a black dude could go out and commit a crime get arrested and instead of it being universally known that that dude is a criminal and got what's deserved. They will say he got arrested due to racism completely omitting the fact the dude committed a crime.
