  1. I really really liked BSG, I try to rewatch it on a yearly basis. My fav visual and ecstatic moment of all the episodes was Exodus Pt 2 where ADM Adama jumps into the atmosphere of New Caprica, has all his Vipers fly out and then FTL out again. Man, goosebumps every bloody time!!

  2. Definitely agree about BSG. I’ve listened to Tricia’s Pod and they have guest frequently – cast, writers, Bear, show runners. Def worth a listen. Last I heard Micheal Hogan is slowly recovering after his fall and brain bleed. Fans contributed a lot $ to help with recovery and over the years he has improved slowly.

  3. As much as I loved it, I think the writer's strike really took it's toll for me. If the latter half the series was as good as the first, it may have supplanted B5 as my favourite sci-fi. I just didn't get on with the later seasons though.
I do agree with the science vs faith stuff. It was very fascinating but didn't quite go in the direction I thought it might. I was half expecting that pagan mythology that underpinned a lot of the themes of the colonies would link to the monotheistic faith of the cylons, as some controvertial research has postulated IRL.
Did you ever catch Caprica? I liked the way that series was going and was a bit annoyed by its cancellation.
