this is one of the worst barrel patterns I’ve seen, and riding. Please consult a trainer or get a different one
That person was totally out of control instead of focusing on whipping the life out of it she should learn to control the speed

Not gonna lie you are kinda abusing that horse. Whipping it uncontrollably is just going to teach it to be afraid of you, the more it’s afraid it’s just going to do stuff out of pure fear.

It’s all good, they are both learning how to tighten up the turns. A ton of hours go into a horse and rider learning tight turns. I love the horse’s problem solving skills tho! It’s like the horse has a sense of humor. 😂

That was 100% rider fault that rider is way to focused on speed and winning and whipping her horse that she isn’t paying attention to the fact that speed isn’t going to make up for extremely wide turns. She should not own horses
okay, I have mixed feeling about this comment and replies section. in my opinion, the horse looks stressed out and the rider is whipping it too much. maybe she should focus on steering rather than speed? I get that speed is the main goal in barrel racing, but if she steered too, she wouldn’t have jumped over the barrel. the horse didn’t even need whipping, it looks fast enough to me. it’s unnecessary to whip them really hard. on the other hand, I know that not all barrel racers are like this. this comment is directed towards the girl.

You need to get off right now and learn the proper way to ride a horse or just quit riding a horse entire if you can’t even pay attention to your horse instead of whipping it, and having the horse make its own decision and jumping a freaking barrel that horse is a barrel, racing horse, not a jumping horse .the horse could’ve hurt itself like when you’re first showing a horse out to jump a jump you don’t say go jump the barrel you gotta be really stupid to not see a barrel right in front of you😂
