  1. As someone who didn't play CRPGs or Baldur's Gate before this one… yeah, THIS is my new favorite game of ALL time, ever, period, I don't even know if they can somehow surpass this.

  2. There are few things i hate about bg3. First thing they do not allow to break your character during creation aka you cannot lower your attribute below 9 and you cannot have higher attribute score than 17. Secondly it is turn-based only. Thirdly it is based on 5e dnd aka no prestige classes. Fourthly the max level is only 12.

  3. Interesting that this guy only played 30 hours in the release build but already knew it was amazing. I am much more than 1000 hours in and can tell you its still amazing. And ive been playing computer ganes for 45 years.

  4. Never been a huge gamer and have never ever played a DND gsme befor but i will say….. its been a well since ive bought it and have 103 hours….. did i take time off work absolutely…. did i stay up all night agsin absolutely 😂 i love this game and its really hard to imagine a perfect game but i dont have to imagine csuse im currently playing it… jokes aside. This game is marvelous

  5. Great review! I just love this game, been playing for a couple of months and going so slow to enjoy the journey. But also…can't wait to do other playthroughs with different types of characters. Also I love the turn based combat and being able to think my way through situations without feeling uncomfortable amounts of stress.

  6. What if it's the mind symbiotes inside the characters want so replicate, nit the actual humanoids?
Altough I've not played yet, so I don't know the lore behind these unusual tadpoles.

  7. I see a lot of ppl get angry at the game having proximity dialogue, this usually happens with either guards, areas your not meant to be in etc… and yeah it can be annoying if you have a specific character that does all the talking and has the skills, but you are running around with 4 ppl who are all pathing around you like idiots, yeah at times they will path into proximity first, a guards not gunna be like ‘hey there stop!… alright first off which one of you has the charisma skills needed for my dc check?… 😂 just saying, I kinda like it, just adds an extra layer of ranger xlXD

  8. I don't agree with you on savescumming. I'm of the school of thought that if that's what makes the game enjoyable for you, then fill your boots, go for it. If savescumming isn't your thing, then don't do it. The point is… stop trying to impose your way of playing on others by having the devs knix it.

  9. I have a deadline to meet to get the next story episode out… yeah, that's gonna have to wait. I love the turn-based combat, it's like playing chess but where your pieces fight and cast spells.

  10. I just got the game. New to the mechanics so I’m struggling a bit on explorer, but after making a second character after watching some guides, I’m starting to get the hang of it. First game in years where I was able to play for 12 hours straight without getting bored

  11. its surreal, even considered as an immersive sim. BG3 offered dynamic narrative and reactivity, the writing for the game gave the illusion of players choice, made predetermined by the devs based on level design, tools, environmental interactions, and emotional capacity for player agency that kept the game engaging and immersive. legit GOTY when it boils down to when games are all about escapism, and that's players freedom.

  12. I have to say, you have piqued my interest in this game. Though I loved BG1 I am not a fan of the multiplayer online genre. I find masses of other players rushing around to be an irritant and very distracting. However, the multiple outcomes that you describe do intrigue me and Im reconsidering buying it. The overtly sexual aspects of the NPCs would annoy me and possibly make me, through my character, feel cheap and grubby. That said, the sales pitch is most likely aimed at young adults rather than us older gamers! Many thanks

  13. 18 hours in and so far its a massive disappointment. Not plot and character wise just the actual game play. I hope it improves but i just cant see how it gets better as for me its the fundamentals of the design that is basically meh at best.

  14. Sorry I disagree.
Now as a old school gamer girl
    I'm talking Atari/Nintendo 1 and PS1 days old school.
We have been dealing with baby sitting.
What does that mean? It mean we had to deal with parents and other people dictating censorship on video game's.
And let's be real here most "M" rated games would even come close to hitting rated R in movies
People like me always wanted a game that was made for adults.
And as someone who actually played TTD&D with my friends. Yes it can get very violent and extremely perverted. Which is why I was so surprised to actually see it in this game. Because I thought I would never see the day. And I loved every moment of it.
Sexual innuendos, flirting and other things can be a common thing.
Can you have a rated PG13 game yes you can.
But most of the people are straight out of high-school going to collage horny young adults let's be real.
And to be honest I'm tired of watered down games.
And if you don't think people actually talk like that? With that much sexualizing things either you are very young and still live with your parents or your living under a rock.
    Because as a pansexual woman.
And how many chat sites, date apps, and hook up apps I've been on I can tell you are wrong.
I could go on a site any site make my bio and put up 1 pic of me and in 1min I'll have 100s blowing up my DMs
And I would say maybe 40% will be just dic pics and nothing else.
About 55% will be dic pics and at lest a "hi"
And about 4.5% will actually send me a paragraph before they send me a dic pic.
And 0.05% will actually talk to me
I went to Culinary arts School and
Everyone guys and girls just talking about sex or some perverted shit.
Fact is in D&D Sex is apart of the game for a lot of people who play.
What maybe different is how descriptive it gets.
I'm happy Balders gate 3 put this in there and hope they continue it.
Besides kids have their own game.
And parents should be watching their own kids.
Some of us who don't have kids,
Is because we don't want them so why should we cater to parents who has them. They're adults they made choices they now have to deal with it.
But I'm more of a sex positive far left type of girl. And I see this as a good thing 😊

  15. You spent an hour in the character creator. That's completely ridiculous—I honestly can't even imagine. How on Earth could a person manage to spend an hour building their character?

I spent like 3 or 4 hours minimum in the character creator altogether, including all the times I restarted the game because I realized my Tav's hair, eye color, or skin tone didn't look right in a particular lighting.

  16. The turn based combat is literally the only reason I'm not getting it, I was so pumped for this game up until I found out about the turn based combat, completely turned me away.

  17. What you said in the middle about how too many characters are horny is why I put off getting the game for so long… being romanced/romancing isn’t my thing as a married man.

  18. Dude, shut up 85 hours in balders gate three is the equivalent of 8.5 hours these days. You need to double or triple those hours before you make a fucking video about it. Damn new gamers. 👎
