Graphic animation of the best players with more total weeks in ATP TOP10, year by year.
This animation visually shows the trend over the years (from 1973 onwards) of the ranking based on the total number of weeks spent in the ATP TOP10 by the main male tennis players.

  3. At the beginning (1973) there are several players to stay on par in the ATP TOP10.
At the beginning of 1975, Ashe remains alone (75 weeks), replaced in 1976 by Laver (152 weeks), until 1977 when Connors occupies the first position in this special ranking, reaching progressively 817 total weeks of stay in the ATP TOP10.
In 2018 Roger Federer passed the Jimmy Connors’ record in this special ranking, arriving (for now) to a total of 833 weeks in ATP TOP10, on October 8, 2018.
