If leaving the romance option up to the player makes it so you cant help but make that character gay or bi, and then that in turn makes you angry, you might have bigger conversation coming up in your future. And if its historical accuracy you are more concerned about, then you are going to throw a fit when you hear about the wizard Pope AC 2 or British accents in AC unity
