I love this movie. The critics were brain dead to pan this film. Wilson and Galifinakis were great. Poehler was a good supporting character. Lauren Ramsey is so beautiful in this movie. This was just all around smartly written comedy. Wilson’s character is so lovable because his character is so comically flawed but still grows.
What has been eating me up inside is the ending. Does anyone have any idea what that last scene where Ben is looking at the horse and then the mechanical horse was supposed to signal?
Love Ben's inner juxtaposition of the Amish horse drawn buggy with the boy riding the mechanical grocery store horse. Everyone being paralyzed by rain and the Amish man riding with an umbrella as the most natural thing in the world.
How about some of Zach Galifanakis' line at 1:19 "I'm just a guy who is running through the desert towards a mirage and I'm still really thirsty with a mouth full of sand"?
This was actually a good movie. It went in the opposite direction, bc I assumed it was going to be a comedy. It did not disappoint.
I'm at 39min & can't watch it anymore. Very boring, too lengthy and not funny. I liked the episode with a black female security guard though – it was good & funny.
