  7. I am Brazilian and I am rediscovering Anita through the interviews in the USA. Thank you for your deep conversation and for showing more of her depth and nuances. In the few snips of interviews I've seen in Portuguese, I have the impression that she tries to bring depth to the conversations, but the interviewers don’t go there, as you did. So, thank you!

    I admire her as a woman who has overcome poverty and the mochism in the Brazilian culture to become an International pop star and a successful businesswoman. In a way, I see her as our Madona. I am curious and excited to see where Anita’s Spiritual journey will take her. Her mission and purpose go way beyond her music!

    AND, I had no idea she had struggled with endometriosis. I can relate to her. About two months ago I had a full hysterectomy because of an advanced endometriosis, myoma, and cysts – that took too long to be diagnosed. For many years, despite my complaints about my periods and symptoms, every single year to the doctors, no doctor (in the USA or in Brazil) requested the proper exams to investigate until I had horrible pains and surgery was the recommended course of action. Sadly, I learned that it’s not uncommon. Now, I am recovering well from the surgery, like Anita, improving my self-care, and looking forward to a new phase in life.

She has a lot of potential as a person, is definitely admirable in her career effort and is indeed evolving internally, but still needs a bit more humility to become a truly enlightened human being. She says she no longer cares so much about being on top… but for anyone with some sensitivity it's clear she tries too often to assert in sneaky ways that yes she's on top. The interview by the way does seem to be set up so that it projects that (this has been her career strategy throughout – projecting a certain reality to others before it is reality – it does work). She still cares a lot. She also often talks very assertively about topics she clearly knows very little about (…not necessarily in this interview – you'd need to speak Portuguese to understand). After suffering a lot of pressure for stating her political beliefs in Brazil, she finally succumbed to wrong conceptions of reality and now regrettably seems to have internalised the idea that being silent when she doesn't know is a sign of submission: a sign however that she does care a lot about the opinions of others (much more than average, I'd say – but that's also what brought her success). That's why she has completely changed her face through surgeries as well. No problem at all with that – but it does signal to that strong search for external approval. I'm sure she'll get there eventually, though. She's been realising a lot of these points in herself. She's on the right path. Lots of positive qualities too. Rooting for her.

  39. I find it disrespectful as a woman to sit that way have respect for yourself and the fans. Sit like a lady. I have a 24 year old daughter and always get compliments on her attitude and character also my 3 sons so proud. Independent on their own thriving.
