Completely unprofessional and ridiculous statements, she does not know what she is talking about. I feel bad for anyone who had to study under her.
I recommend checking out Metatron's reaction vid to her, he does great job breaking down why this video is horrible.
THANKS 😊

you could say the Roman Empire is her Roman Empire
wow shes great she should answer more she even brought the news!
So, the fights were staged like WWE?
This was terrific! Professor Ginsberg was actually my RA many MANY years ago in college. It is fantastic to see her again and learn so many interesting things about ancient Rome 😁
I love the grill
I noticed that almost every expert in theses videos is a bit self conscious in the intro, but the moment they start talking about their subject, they gain so much confidence
Yeah, time is getting compressed behind us as we move forward and back and our technology goes backwards cool huh starting to notice it
We do call them vomitoriums!
This is the words of someone who has no passion for their subject after the first 8 minutes, pushing their own agenda.
Roman women couldn't vote? After Augustus, nobodies votes mattered.
It’s tough to judge ancient empires by today’s standards. That wasn’t the moral framework people lived in. The question asked who was objectively the best emperor, and she answered based on who she thinks was a good person. Those aren’t the same thing. If none of these rulers were good at what they did, Rome wouldn’t have dominated the world the way it did. Objectively, Rome produced some of the most effective rulers in history. Subjectively, they were probably all pretty terrible people
I’m not comfortable with the way she said rap concerts
Which idiot decided to store urine and see what happens? 1:05
now this is a real professor
JESUS CHRIST IZ KING.🖤✝️
This woman is lowkey fine.
i really wish they bring a person that can answer the question with real answers because she answer with more questions and confuse arguments like the civil wars in rome and the slave revolts that are completely different types, and also to she judge the historical figures in his 21 century values is something that a professional historian does not do, i hope you do new episode of rome but with a real historian of rome
She kinda cooked with that answer about a “good autocrat” 9:37
uhh pretty sure nero killed a bunch of Christians and created more martyrs than any other roman emperor, percentage-wise. marcus aurelius' flaws were being inactive and despondent.
you must be really morally bankrupt to not see the obvious difference between the two, and i don't even like aurelius.
could the issue be that nero killed Christians and you're fine with that part? getting a bit of tunnel-vision?
