  1. Luca's mega. Would be interesting to know the size of his cue in relation to his own height. It look too long to for him to comfortably use, maybe thats his secret?

  2. The stupidest and most inaccurate comment anyone can make about this sport.

The result of too much "expert" chatter. As soon as these "experts" start talking, I change the channel.

I've been doing that with football for a long time, too.

These experts are the "Hollywood circus," not the sport.
Time for the retirement home, Jimmy?

  3. Been watching snooker for a long time, not super super fan, but i always put it on in the good old days. Never thought to see a fellow Belgian at the highest level. News in Belgium couldn't give a f 😒

  4. I was a Belgian Kid with an English father when I started playing, looking up to all the greats such as White, Davis, Hendry, O'sullivan, Williams, Carter, Selby, Highins, Allen, Trump etc…
I knew of course Luca won WC 2 years ago but I never seen him play untill now.
And I am just amazed and proud.
    He deserves it

  5. The difference between Luca and Ronnie is Ronnie's control of the Cue ball. Luca, too often, has to play those Hallelujah shots, wonderful to see but having to play those shots makes his game inconsistent. To put it simply, Luca's Cue ball always ends more or less in a position and Ronnie's always ends up in exactly the position. As the frame goes on Luca's shots seem to get harder and harder and planning shots forward becomes more and more difficult, hence his breaks of around 75 while Ronnie's are around 100+.

  6. Steve Davis said that if Ronnie O'Sullivan is the benchmark, then snookerplayers will all be better able to controll the cueball and thus pot one ball after another, without losing too much time in between. So the game may then progress in the type of play Luca is displaying here as well. I think that may be the case, and next to that, in the future players will all be able to play left and right handed. Fast thinking, fast playing..knowing upfront where the next potting ball is and position the cueball exactly where needed.

  7. The only snooker player so far I've heard that doesn't have a dull lame boring walk out song some of there songs are awful . Respect to Luca for being different and interesting
