  1. When my body stalled with the low carb lifestyle, and I put liver in my body it was like putting the jumper cables on a dead battery. When my veins were blowing trying to donate platelets now my body goes through the donation with ease.

  2. Good subject. I like a meal of liver, bacon, onions. All my adult life, at east a couple times a year I just sensed I needed a liver meal and always felt immediately better for it. Nowadays, I generally eat calves liver monthly, and chicken liver pate weekly. Btw, I grew up eating liver and that may be the difference why some of us really enjoy liver and those who have a yuk factor.

  3. Thank you for doing this video…I wish I liked liver. How do you & Judi eat it…in a pate? If so, maybe I'd try her recipe.🤔 I have heard some carnivores say they made themselves start eating it & ate it daily & then complained they were feeling worse… I agree – it's the dose. There are benefits, but it's not all or nothing. I can only use dessicated liver capsules for the time being & even with those, I'm conscious of how many & started out slow – less than is even instructed. Thank you for your info as always.

  4. I've been eating small amounts of lamb liver (grass fed) maybe 4 times per week, roughly 28g/1 ounce each time since watching these videos. Lamb's has marginally lower levels of Vit A (299% as opposed to beef liver at 381% RDA according to Cronometer). I'm not a fan of the taste but I'm getting used to it since I discovered that Jamaican Jerk seasoning (Steenberg brand, no sugar in the mix just herbs and spices) makes it quite nice. Thank you for the information!

  5. Are there actual studies to point to the fact that natural vitamin A from food is toxic? All the studies I've ever come across have used synthetic vitamin A. And this scares people into staying away from vitamin A rich foods. I watched another video from a nutritional expert like yourself who said that there was not a single study ever done, anywhere, showing NATURAL vitamin A from food to be toxic and that you could eat all you want. So now I'm confused…lol Hence my question on if you got this information from studies and, of so, what type of vitamin A was used in those studies.

  6. Hello, Dr. Goldkamp!
Thank you for all you do.
In 2015 I weighed 280lb, & was diagnosed as 'prediabetic/metabolic syndrome', w/ all the symptoms.
Today I weighed 198lb & have healed most all the symptoms.
Currently I eat keto & fast 4 days on, 4 off trying to heal NA fatty liver.
On the 1st feeding day I like to have 2-3oz liver, 2 eggs w/ cheese, onions w/ peppers, & bacon.
Maybe a salad, chia seed pudding w/ almond milk, & some blueberries & strawberries.
I was diagnosed w/ asthma, COPD, & asbestosis so I want some foods w/ anthocyanins, supposed to be good for lungs.
    Have a GREAT day, Neighbor!

  7. Thanks for this video! There is so much controversy right now in the keto carnivore community! I just can’t stand the texture of liver. Maybe I will try Mrs.Judy’s pâté and if I can’t do it I will do the supplements!

  8. I've started eating liver EVERY day since I started looking at the facts, the Vit A in grass fed beef liver does me good 🙂 I eat it raw, make a seasoned "liver dip" kind of thing sort of a Liver Tarre Tarre, and dip my steak and burgers into it. It's soooooo good! If your water intake and hydration is on point, you can't over do it in my opinion 😁 Today I'm having about 7oz along with the rest of my beef. Usually I have a lot less, but todays gonna be a big big meal.

  9. I'm sure all theory is correct. I'm just always skeptical when I dont really like something.. Why dont I crave liver if its so good for me?…. Nature should have made we want it really badly..
