  1. Overall a good effort. Just needs a little weeding. I can do without the Carrie Underwood song and the Diane Warren penned song (maybe the worst song they ever did!). And i can only stomach 1 Joe P sung song per album (keep Freedom Fighter, lose the other). This album would have been a big hit earlier in their career.

    Legendary Child Lyrics

    [Verse 1]
    Legendary child
I'll tell you what I'm talking about
Makin love at 17, yeah we had the luck
But we traded them toys for other joys
    And we didn't give a
    (Whoa whoa whoa)
I took a chance at the high school dance
    Never knowin wrong from right
And that same show 40 years ago
    Bein televised tonight'

    [Verse 2]
Cause getting from inside my head to the Taj Mahal
I went from never havin none to wanna have it all
I want to keep that dream alive
And eat that honey from the hive
With all the noise and all the glamour
No surprise, you know I am a
    Legendary child

    [Verse 3]
I think a-what I'm trying to say is
Sticks and stones may break your bones
    At least they'll rearrange
I'll drop a dime, and every time
    I get myself a nickel's change
    (Whoa whoa whoa)
They say we don't know jack
At the plant we proved them wrong
We traded in our soul tonight and sold them for a song
And if Satan had a lady friend, her name was Mary Jane
I never wondered why she tried to drive us quite insane
And how we got that golden fleece
From tokin on that pipe of peace
Yeah as far as I can see
There is a God cause I got me a

  3. Is the long voice intro part of the cd as well? I hope not. I’d hate to have to listen to that every time because I’d like to put this one on my mix. I listen to Aerosmith over and over. For about 45 years now. Anybody got that answer? Thanks

  6. I’ve been a casual fan for a about a decade since a kid but I just started listening to their albums now as an adult. Definitely my first and only favorite band rn. This song feels like an amazing outro to their career even if it isn’t technically the last song or music video. I know I’m late but I’m excited to listen to them this point forward

  7. This is a really good song. Too bad it wasn't originally released on Get A Grip, it would have been a much bigger hit.
Also,I don't know why people are putting this album down. It's an excellent rock album having everything for everyone. If you like the first album, you've got the funkier stuff like Shakey Ground, Up On The Mountain and Out Go The Lights, If you are a fan of the 70's hard rocking era, you've got Oh Yeah, Street Jesus and I'm Not Talking. If you are a fan of their 80's / 90's hard rocking songs, you've got this one, LUV XXX, Lover Alot, Freedom Fighter… If you're a fan of the weird Just push play phase, you've got Beautiful, Sunny Side Of Love… If you like their grand ballads, you've got plenty of them too, What Could Have Been Love, Another Last Goodbye, We All Fall Down, or more quiet and intimate ballads, such as Closer, Something or Oasis In The Night. I see this album as Aerosmith paying their debt towards all the fans who were passionately waiting for a new Aerosmith album. When they announced that the new Toys or Rocks are being made, people thought of the sound of those records, but with the advancement of technology and the advancement in skills and abilities of the band, it can never sound the same. Also, it's not only 70's fans who like the band. By 2011/2, there was a huge base of longtime faithful 80's/90's fans so their wishes have to be represented too. All in all, I really think that it's a great album, that deserved much more love and live performances (I mean, Out Go The Lights has never been performed live in full, also Street Jesus, We All Fall Down…).

  8. Thx aerosmith for all…
I know u guys are thinking to stop playing for good. But we need more aerosmith songs. More albums. More past shows in highquality. Well. My dream as a child was to have joe perry guittar.🎉😊
