Aerosmith was at thier peak here, having Toys in the Attick under their belt we were all waiting for thier next album. It came out and I bought it that very day. I was a jelly teenager.

Steven Tyler initiated the real meaning of "rock ballad". What a master at lyrics, song composition and emotion from the entire band who took this one out for a grand slam! These guys are truly the best!

It's hard to say this is Aerosmith's BEST album because they have so many SUPER SONGS too that aren't here but this still probably is their top best album at the end of the day ..if that makes any sense. ONE of their BEST albums though to be sure!

one of the few tapes I had was Classics Live 2, then CDs came and Columbia House provided me with Get Your Wings, Toys in the Attic, this, and a bunch of Zeppelin and ACDC. most great bands can begin an album well, but Aerosmith loved ending them well, too.
