I was just watching this seeing how old it is and that some people are still raving about this stuff. Well it just shows that in a way it’s phenomenal that it happened because it doesn’t seem to have happened again. I’m talking about bon scott, and the fact that this band really got the clubs swinging hard- they didn’t really set out to they just played groovy rock songs and had fun doing it. It was catchy and attracted the youth of that day and age and frankly would have been awesome to be there half drunk and in the crowd. It wasn’t just the lead singer that had tattoos- everyone did. It was the rock band of a generation as many other rock bands tried to capture attention as these guys did they seemingly failed because of the greed for making money I guess. That’s where ac/dc was a little different back then….They rocked…….so when a Jewish man or a black guy asks “please explain what is “rocked” basically one would have trouble trying to explain. I mean see for yourself, they were rocking. This was what we call people having a good time is a better way of putting it but even in saying that it doesn’t quite describe that these people were rockin. They weren’t just having a good time they were having the ultimate time of their lives. So the Jewish or the black or the Asian would basically get jealous and retort that “we can have the time of our lives aswell and just because you had the time of your lives doesn’t mean you’re more intelligent than us”. So at that the opposing cultures would put together a stage and find a black guy that could get tattoos and jump around on stage booping away to music in the most orgasmic fashion to show that they can do just the same as we did. And further more they can make more money doing it……..I think they missed the point. The lyrics stipulate “well you asked me why I comb my hair”! Bon was just trying to explain with this song that we were through the roof with excitement of the fact that they proved they were better. Not only did they do it before or first, they did it original, they did it for love and they did it the best. So stop asking.
