1. The sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle is a large, strap-like muscle in the neck that helps with many functions, including:
Movement: Tilting and turning the head, bending the neck, extending the head, and breathing
Posture: Maintaining posture
Exercise by raising both shoulders while the hands glide up the wall. Lying down without support for the head. is for the SCM.
2. The pectoralis minor is a triangular muscle in the upper chest that helps stabilize the shoulder blade:
Location: Located in the anterior chest wall, beneath the pectoralis major muscle
Origin: Attaches to the 3rd–5th ribs
Insertion: Attaches to the coracoid process of the scapula
Function: Stabilizes the shoulder blade by pulling it down and forward against the
3. The serratus anterior is a broad, fan-shaped muscle in the chest wall that helps move and stabilize the shoulder blade or scapula. Exercise by pushing the door frame with a single arm,
