  1. Thank you for giving us this invaluable information as always! I had a thought about alcohol and diet rich in predominantly protein and fat for weight loss. For those who drink daily alcohol and or more than “moderation” I want to make sure they are cautious about protecting their liver. Cutting back on alcohol intake is first and foremost the most important thing you can do for your health. Next while you are working on that it’s important to be aware that a low carbohydrate diet can be harmful to your liver….. your liver is very powerful and in fact amazing like many other organs in your body but after time it could potentially become over worked, tired and lose its ability to function from the constant stress it endures from alcohol.
