I also knew someone who got an LSD psychosis and he took medicine for the rest of his life. But he also didn't want to see his family again for certain reasons, and I never pushed him. He lived his life until he was 70 yrs. and he died in peace. If someone is old enough to decide not to see their family again, why should you push them (until they break?) You can try and maybe it'll work, but psychotic people are very fragile and are able to do unsuspected, crazy things. We're not psychologists, so realise that people make up their OWN mind, even when it seems off or the family misses them so much, and they don't understand why, etc. It's hís or her decision, and if they're gone for 6(!) years, you can look for them, but you gotta respect their decision if they won't wanna come with you. Don't push them over the edge. An LSD psychosis is very serious and can be dangerous if that person feels threatened. Respect their choice. Cause sh*t can hit the fan and then you're much further away from home.. Just like with Gino.
