California has been in the process of doing this for a few years. I wonder what their status is?
Boy I'm not sure about that one, but I'd like to see Eastern Oregon become western Idaho. I love these areas just don't like there Politics. I grew up in western Washington and I ran out of there to come to Idaho after I retired. More snow than I like but that's okay.

Great! I think New York City, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, etc can all be their own states, then any person leaving those city states, after a short amnesty for those that want to get out, be considered illegal aliens and arrested and sent back so they don’t mess up the good states. 👍

I'm not even conservative and I think this is a great idea it would mutualy benefit both states and it would set a very interesting precedent that I think would open to gates to more government reform based on what the people actually want. A lot of politians and people forget that the government is supposed to submit and serve the people it governs not the other way around
If the US congress won't go along with the switch, they still have the option of moving, which is difficult but not if you want it bad enough.
I live in CA, particularly in eastern LA county, and would love to secede from the liberals. I share none of their values and think my tax dollars could be spent better if I wasn't a part of Commiefornia.
