  1. In rare circumstances, proactively complying with police can provide benefits in the long run, but in general, you should STFU!!! Just politely say, “I’m sorry—I want to comply, but I would prefer to wait to answer questions until a lawyer is present.” Don’t be angry or rude, even if the cop is that way to you. Judges almost always take behavior during the arrest into account at least a little bit, especially in extreme circumstances. Also, resisting and/or fleeing police is a felony in some states. Just wait until you speak to a lawyer and get in court to do ANYTHING.

  2. It's so sad, to steal
    anything from anyone. It's time to make our law's more severe so popple stop doing this stuff. There is some good that may come from this though, hopefully she learns her lesson and really thanks about her actions in the future and uses better judgement.
