I remember my first ever high speed chase I covered, it was then and there that I seen for the first time in person the amount of caring someone with nothing to lose has. Zero Fudge given and countless innocent people hurt. God bless anyone who was hurt and get hurt in any way by people who don't care.

Genuine question. Why when he is driving so fast and into oncoming traffic do cops in the cars not stop chasing? He is being tracked the helicopter, he can NOT out run that and his location will be known. Re engage the chase when he stops and gets out of the vehicle. What does chasing accomplish other than increase the odds of a crash?

The cop downplaying the situation to the woman for information and to not alarm her is so funny.
“He’s not a bad guy!” Tells dispatch that he’s going to kill some one.
“He’s driving a little erratically.” Suspect seen speeding down the road in the wrong direction.
“We’re not gonna pursue him.” Shows helicopter and entire department in active pursuit.
Shout out to Kia and Honda (victim car)… that Kia Rio took that smash like a champ and the dude was well enough to get out for a shootout with cops. Both are safe cars!
This department is way too soft, if someone starts driving that erratically the chase needs to end as soon as possible even if by ramming his vehicle. Insane luck he didn’t kill anyone on the highway. Also shouldn’t the report he wants to go out in a “blaze of glory” immediately be put out on the radio? A lot wrong with this chase for sure.
Just throw him off that overpass and call Code 4.

They let this go on for far too long. Everyone was right that K9 does have the cutest bark but i dont think a bite from him would be all that cute. Kudos to his friend who didn't lie for him and warned LE to be careful.
