  1. Psn thing was publishers, and only really changed by gamers not the devs or publishers

Unity is technically an engine not a developer or publisher, so i guess you could say thats software development not gaming tho it was developers and publishers that shifted unities plan along with some gamers

Micro transactions is normally player changes despite the fact the devs done the work

Xbox online activities and renting plans were changed by players, also theyre publishers not developers tbf

I think the only thing 100% pulled off by devs in this whole list is hellogames no man sky update and maybe cdpr cyberpunk, but both were based off player backlash

  2. lol kz2 is a perfect example of what Sony has always done until that moment they got backlash. Sony is a dirty dirty company and they keep it secret very well. Kz2 released and didn’t look anywhere near as good. So nice try you were wrong

  3. "If you have no- or insufficient internet, stick to our old hardware", is perhaps the worst and most insulting PR barf I have ever heard. I mean, even if he was actually serious there are so many other non-condescending ways he could have worded it. Instead of "We have a product for those people… it's called 360" he could've said "Well, for the players who are unfortunate enough to not have sufficient internet we do still support and highly recommend the 360 which is also still an amazing console".

  4. 3:04 to say it was impossible to complete Cyberpunk on last-gen hardware before the patches is patently false. I will unequivocally agree that a consumer should not have to shoulder the burden of having to struggle through as many bugs as I did, but it was possible. I earned every achievement the game and I was on said 'last-gen' hardware, the Xbox One to be specific.

  5. Immediate down vote. Asking players to link an account isn't stupid its something every major publisher has asked customers to do over the last 20yrs of gaming. The response by ppl was over blown and frankly stupid.

  6. StarWars Galaxies was THE top notch MMORPG back then. And, one day, some brainless deciders made a stupid mov, the worst game update ever : "Combat Upgrade" C.U. The game lost its feel and many aspects of the great gameplay were destroyed.
Gamerz just hated it! So they rapidely rolled back to the previous version to play it on private servers or simply left the game forever. They just killed one of the best game ever made.
