My fave is/was 'Firefly". I have all episodes, and movie "Serenity" on my PC.
I hated Jericho, all cliffhangers
I have a favorite from the 80s called misfits of science and one from the 70s the Phoenix and man from Atlantis

If you do a followup list, you must cover the V revival, and also definitely Revolution. Both were quality Sci fi, and both were axed far too soon.
They ended the show John Doe way to soon, shoehorning in a bad ending due to be cancelled.

Timeless was cut to soon. I'm glad they got a TV movie to wrap it up.
Was gutted firefly only got one season so deserved many more more seasons also thought stargate Atlantis should of had more than 5 seasons

I love Stargate, and Universe was definitely the bottom of the franchise.
But it really bugged me because it finally got to the point that I actually wanted to see what happened next, and then it was canceled.
They could have at least done a TV Movie to close it up, like they did with SG1 ala Ark of Truth and Continuum.
Dark Matter was also a very creative and intriguing sci-fi show that stopped at a crucial moment and could have closed it all with a TV movie instead of just letting it hang.
I'd have included Believe, they just put out one season and it was great, the cast was pretty good and the story was well built for a second season but they left everything unresolved
Missing from this list is Jeremiah. Only one season of an excellent JMS creation.
I miss BSG: Caprica, finished after just one season
SGU sucked anyhow it needed to die, they could kept doing SG1 into infinity as a Stargate is potential stories and worlds for years.
I loved Firefly and Almost Human. It's just a shame what happened to them. Then again, Fox is notorious for putting great shows on, not supporting them, and canceling them. I don't have a clue what the people running the company are thinking. We can't hope they will get picked up like The Orville and 9-1-1 by other companies.

You forgot the original Dark Matter series that left so many things up in the air and unanswered. Not the recent Apple TV quantum superposition series of the same name, but a gritty space operatic tale of amnesic criminals that wake up on a ballsey starship and struggle to remember their past lives and to trust eachother.
Farscape was amazing show that shows jon grow each season. Season one he is an idiot but by season 4 was hero that knew his worth
Almost human and Jericho was cool.
My favorite SF TV Show was X-Files by far. And except Dark Angel, all of these shows were bad and it was good decision to cancel them. Heroes should be at this list, that TV show had so many potential after season 1. Roswell was good SF TV show for teens, it could have more seasons.
Worst cliffhanger ever (John Doe). Fox never gives a show a chance. All most 22 years and my wife still has to hear bring it up.
Why does everyone always leave out "Threshold" the most interesting one season show of all time.

My personal list would have included firefly, dark angel, space above and beyond, and Sarah Connor. Glad they are all recognized now for how good they were.

I loved the Dark Angel series, but it was stopped just as every episode was becoming a "why can't we all just get along" trope. Better to stop it when they did, than to drag it out
So many series I loved, ended too soon. Firefly, Dark Angel, Space, Above and Beyond, Sarah Connor, SGU, Jericho, Farscape. I start to fear liking a series.
Well, speaking of Farscape it did have the peacekeeper war miniseries/TV movie, but then after that, there were Farscape comics that continued the story. Firefly also finished a lot of major storylines and comic as well. I would’ve liked to have seen a another season of dark Angel as well. Space above and beyond and then Sarah Connor Chronicles is a very underrated terminator sequel. And also two human was really good. It was a shame that it did not get a second season.
Of all the series I've watched (and often rewatched), the cancellations of Firefly and Farscape caught me off-guard the most. Other shows that come to mind are indeed SG-U, Space Above and Beyond, Jericho and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
However, I am also missing a couple of titles here; Earth 2 for instance left me wanting for more, as did Revolution, Touch and Believe.
stargate sg-1 with o'neill, carter, teal'c and ok, jackson. without these 4 together it's not sg-1.
I think Fringe also should have been on this list.
Earth 2 and Jeremiah was also 2 good series that ended too soon.
You forgot one. Terra Nova. It starred Jason O'Mara and Stephen Lang.

Stargate Universe I tried watching several times, but ended up shutting it off each time. It was the weak series of the bunch.
Almost Human was fantastic and I am glad to see it getting recognized.
